  3. hey guyz..... got a question. i had planned on running 4 awg from the battery terminal down to the fuse and then on the other end of the fuse continue with 4 awg and then put a distribution block. then run 4 awg to the other amps from the block. is this ok? or no? running 4 amps, all the same gauge wire
  4. hey guys does anybody know how you would wire this qvc beast? I know you would take a pair of the voice coils and wire them to an amp. So im guessing you would do the same to the other side. Heres my question, when wiring separate sides of the speaker to its amp would you wire as you normaly do or is there a special way? IM goin to put one amp per pair of coils, i just want to make sure i get 1ohm power from each. so would i just wire each side to 1ohm or is there a special way with a qvc sub?
  5. thankx for responding, what will spacers do for u? or me in this case?
  6. hey guyz.. i got a big problem, i just put my 26's on my 06 escalade and i have no rubbing at all and good clearance. But my 2 front wheels rub or grind on what it seams like to be the axles when i make left and right turns. its not hitting my fenders or the body of the car, i checked. I have kinda deep dish wheels and it looks like they might be grinding on the back of the face of both rims when i turn. can anybody help or give me advice? if it helps it doesnt do it until i turn about half way left or right help me please?

  12. yeah once i get it all going, still need to get my alt's and batt's
  13. If you want to do it the best way, a triple bracket with either 2, 270XP's or 2, 390XP's plus a stock output alt in the stock location. Run the 2 390XP's isolated from your stock electrical because your 'Lade has the stock RVC system which is just FAIL for guys like you so it's best to just go around it. One of our 270XP's will run a 4500 pretty dang good, one 390 @ 15v continuous will handle 6K no problem which is what a 4500 @15v is about capable of.. One 270XP will handle a 3500 @ .5 all day long, and depending on how hard your on it, you'll cook an amp LONG before you ever need to worry about the alt. One 270XP will run a 4500 at .5 about 8/10 of wide open with no drop.. One 390XP will run a 4500 at .5 wide open with no drop whatsoever and again, you'll cook an amp long before the alt gives up.. Either way you go, it will be better than ANY other setup you can get.. Kyle has a 3500 he ran at.5 in his Camry on a 270XP and we've done hours and hours and hours of testing with it so we're very familiar with them.. In all the testing we did though, we could never run the amp long enough to over work the alternator before either the amp or subs got too hot and we had to back off... thanks rob that really helped out alot! so how much are the 270xp's and the 390"s ?
  14. hello rob, im running 2 saz 4500's and 2 cresendo 1000.4 for mids and highs - i drive a 06 escalade, how big and how many ALT. should i run?
  15. hey guys im kinda new to wiring subwoofers so i need some help. i hear now a days people are using these speaker pins and banana plugs to wire up there subwoofers, how do you use both of them? and which one is the better to use? one more thing, what gauge wire would u use to wire 2 18" fi btl's? thanx

  20. could one 270 amp alt. charge up my starting battery and 2 kinetik hc3800's or would i need 2 alt?
  21. so wire the positive on one side to the positive on the other, then the same with the negatives and then run a wire from the positve and one from the negative that goes out. is that correct?
  22. this might be a dumb question, but can u wire dual 1.4 ohm speakers to 1ohm or do you just have to wire to .7- if you have to wire to .7 can you explain how to do that please?
  23. thanks man, i watched ur vid with the 2 15"s smd's thats sick.
  24. Does anybody know of any really good double din's out there that have everything u need for a sick system?
