my question is these 15" juggernauts i came across are 1500 rms. i know these are competition speakers and they can handle alot so i was wondering if anybody knows or have seen what kind of amps or power they have pushed them, and how much wattage is needed for them to sound good? they are 1.4 ohm speakers so i dont know if it would be better to go with an 1ohm or 2ohm amp or amps?

so overall if get a 150ah of xs power do u think ill be good?

thanks for your responding, here is what im doing and u tell me what u think . i have 4500 i am spending on a sick system. i wnt to pound real hard so am i purchasing this: H.o alt. 200 amp, 2 15" xcon's with a sundown 3500d saz, and focal compent systems for mid's and high's with 100.4 saz and probably 2 kinetic hc2400 batteries for the back. what do u think about that? give me some insight, oh by the way i drive a 2006 black cadillac escalade with 26's, write back. thanks kevin io would do 18 inch xcons there sick,your gonna need a good amount of deadner.what 6s you got on there? would u do xcon's or nightshade's gianelle-spezia's

how many batteries would u recommend for a sundown 3500d saz pushing 2 15" xcon's and a 100.4 saz for mid's and highs?

i was wondering if u can draw me up something with dimensions and all , that would be the perfect ported box for 2 nightshade 15"s?

A lot of it comes from experience, simply if you hear mechanical stress, or smell burning, other than the glue heating up for the first time that's a sign to turn it down. If you correctly set your gains and filters that will make thermal failure less likely, and if you build the correct enclosure that will make mechanical failure less likely. i hear u on that one? what would be the perfect enclosure for those? size of port holes or does it matter? You will need a digital multimeter to set your gain correctly, you match the amplifier gain to the head unit gain. You set your subsonic filter about 3 Hz. below your enclosure tuning and your low pass filter a few Hz. where your midbass cuts off. thank u

I think your stretching it a bit there. For the average user 1,500 watts is too much for any version of the Nightshade. what would u suggest? I got a 200 amp alt. 2 spar batteries focal mid's and highs, and im trying to make these 15"s pound really hard. im sure ur a little more exprierenced than i am so be honest, what would u suggest to make these pound really hard? Normally I suggest people stick to rated power, because they will "pound really hard" at rated. Of course volume increases when power increases, so does heat though. If they are in the correct enclosure and you are smart about how hard you push them go ahead with the SAZ-4500D. i appreciate ur honesty. thank u, feel free to give me more insight on how to not push them too hard.

No matter the voice coil rating the rms will be the same on any subwoofer you buy out there. The rms is 1500, since you have to ask stick with 1500rms and you wont damage anything. for 2 12"inch nightshades would u suggest a 3500d or the new 4500d? and what voice coil would u get. the 2-ohm or the 1-ohm? For two nightshades, get the dual 1 ohm. A SAZ3500D would be plenty for those two. what kind of wiring would u recommend?

1 saz-4500d and dual 2 ohm 15' l7 kickers and they have an rms of 1000 watts, how many do u think i could run off that amp ?

having a saz-3500d or a saz-4500d , how many speakers could u hook up to them?

for one of those big mono sundown amps , how many speakers could u hook up to it? perferably a 3500d or a 4500d

can u explain the ho alternator please?

if u had that saz-4500d with those 15's, would consider running a spar battery and maybe an compacitor?

Way more information is needed on your part: budget, electrical upgrades, etc. Max wattage doesnt mean a thing, find you a 2000 watt rms amplifier that will fit your budget, why get two amps instead of one. What voice coil rating are your subs? (see how this information could have given to us to skip all these questions Im asking you). i dnt have a budget, money is no problem and both of my speakers are 2-ohm's , and i just thought 2 amps would be better cause u can run more wattage to each speaker. give some suggestions
