To each his own i have never been a fan of kicker subs at all in m 13yrs as a installer pioneer subs always do better in ported enclosures we built a demo car for pioneer for our territory when i first got into this using all there entry level stuff and even the pioneer rep was impressed I am just needin s little insite this is the first sytem that i have built for myself in years so i amay be a litle behind with whats hot right now Dont get me wrong I like them but they lack the punch, the best thing about them is they did get down low and dirty (made panels on my car shake like ass in the strip club). One time my 2-12"s made my trunk open, it didnt break the latch or anything but somehow the lows popped the latch on its own (something my CVX's never did). whatenclosure did you have them in ported or sealed and what airspace

just bought a 275 amp altenator have a otima yellow top under the hood now and have 3 svr 1500 batteries ready to be installed I am a installer so i have the electrical part covered i just am wanting to try something diffferent as far as a amp goes.

I have a EPx2 Processor with the 28 band eq card and the control of the unit is great i was just wondering if anyone had one with the dsp card in it and if so if the could tell me the benifit of having the card. I love the unit I had saw a dsp card on ebay and was trying to see if i would be getting any more out of having the card in the processor or not.

The fs is 30hz the qms is 15.06 the qes is .57 the qts is .55 the vas is .461 cubic ft rms is 5.61 the mms is 448.66 the cms is 5.60x10 to the 5th power this sub doesnt have a spider like normal subs it has a inverted cone under the main cone that utillies a air suspension system if you need any more specs let me know

I build ported boxes on a pretty regular basis using the re enclosure calculator and they are always slot ports but i want to build a different box that uses a square port that isnt a slot port but I dont know the formulat to calulate the port area or convert the round port to a square port can anyone please give me some insite on how to do this please thanks alot .

I am trying to decide what amps to use ot run my new system that i am building I have been looking at the mmats 3500.1 and the us amps 3500de I am going to run 4 ts-w 3002d2 subs but I have never used either one of these products I have read great reviews on these amps but here in louisiana where i am from there arent anyone around here that runs these amps or sells them so iam going to have to buy direct from these companies so any incite would be great and if anyone else has any other good amp suggestions that are in the 3 to 4,000 watt range please let me know. Has anyone used these subs and if so what size ported enclosure have you guys been building for them i have talked to a couple different shops and have gotten several different answers but none of them are close to the same i have made my mind up that these are the subs that i am goign to use bu ti jus tneed to know what size ported box to build for them I really dont want to waste wood ecperimenting with different boxes and how much power have people been using on them I have also have heard several different answers on that as well some ahve said they put aton of power to them and some say be conservative if anyone had any info please let me know.
