Even if this box is fine, It belongs to my kove audio subwoofer, so when that sells I am out a box. So I might as well build the recomended enclosure. after my kove sells. if anyone is interested in my kove its $200 enclosure included.

Just a thought, But if you had a higher voltage, you then as we all know, have the gain turned down more, which would give less room for noticeable noise picked up by the amp??

I want to know in very good detail, on what the advantage is in the difference from a 3v pre--out to a 5v pre-out?? i'm just curious.

I know, that i started cranking the minute I got it . :) How do I use a DMM to check for fluctuations I have never done that before.

My alternator is grounded to the body, and there is 2 gauge wire running to the amp

I have a ?, How badly does the fact that I have a 85amp stock alternator in my car affect my amplifier? It is re-wired, I don't see the voltage drop no more than a max of 1 volt, but I know my amp is drawing 165-190 amps, since it is 1600rms. ????

If I don't need to break them in then why was it louder the second day of playing music, with the same settings? Also, where all the responses to my vids?? I want some talk in here

Off the in-dash they will sound better than stock, but once you amp them they will shine

I have polk momo 6x9's and I love them they are plenty loud to keep up with most subs, and the sound very clean to, plus great mid-bass. I'm not sure about the components but i'm sure there not to different than the 6x9's.

I could actually hear my amp distort, ive never heard that before. I need a better amp.

I like taking full advantage of my subs, I love loud ass music. My enclosure doesn't meet the ideal suggested enclosure, plus this enclosure is for my kove subwoofer which I am selling. I can tell its not hitting as low as it should because this enclosure isn't right.

my front mids are set to 80hz and my rear mids are set to 40hz, I just like mid-bass just as much as i like deep bass, plus I was trying to break it in during normal use i normally use 90hz

the crossover is set at 100hz with a 24db curve

Just to let everyone know, the xcon isn't broken in yet, it isn't in its ideal enclosure, and its only getting 1600rms from a hifonics brutus amp. But it is still loud, I will post more vids in about a month once I get everything set-up correctly.

the 15" its in a full size 92 buick century station wagon on a stock alternator with 2 gauge wire, and a 1600rms amp. I wish I could see its full potential, that will have to wait until next month

I tried, euro-dance which is similar to techno), I also tried rap and some bass testers. I kind of noticed it wasn't hitting anything above 50hz very well is it just because it isn't broken in yet? i can tell it does sound very stiff, it could also be because its not in its ideal enclosure yet. Give me ideas on how to improve on my setup before I do my video tomorrow.
