just had to show a teaser of one of my tru's as well. looks too good not to show it off when it is lit up at night and yes, those 12"s are claws

damn my car sucks... word to the wise, if you ever want to put 8"s in your doors, make sure you put them somewhere so that you can still shut your doors after you glass them . these components are freakin killer. im too tired to host all the pics or write much right now, but i will attatch a teaser pic with this post. the doors are built out 2 inches to accomodate the woofers, and the doors are unfinished. actually there are VERY rough, since i had to leave to get back to school. they should get done in a few weeks though.

and... i got a few questions for ya actually... about the 8s mostly. my computer sub sucks.

haha, i think that the person you are refering to is me. i have a tru H-1 on a mag 15. and yes a tru is capable of upwards of 3kw, however, with my charging system i am not getting that much out of it. i am drawing 94 amps of current peak(that is the most i have seen it draw), and that is taking my voltage to the high 11v. so i am only getting about 1200 watts with my charging system the way it is right now. as to blowing a mag, it is definitly possible. i have seen a few blown coils, and seen some re-cones nick has done. there was even one mag that was blown off a JBL 1200.1. it is definitly possible to thermal the coils on the mags, just takes some work as for bottoming out, you CANT bottom the 12's. no matter how much power. but you can bottom the 15's. i havent done it(yet), but i know that it can be done i dont know who has actually put the most power to their mags, but i would be interested to hear actual power sent to them . i have had 1800 watts going to 4 12's, and 1200 watts to 1 15". anyone else?

just for reference purposes, i KNOW for a fact, that 5.4 cubes tuned to 90Hz doesent work well for a 15. however, if you take about 5 cubes and tune it to 43Hz it is a much better box, until you lose the aero ports

then maybe you wont be so mad when i tell you that i siezed the 15 tonight. jk

a friend of mine who used his H-1's for SPL was getting 3300 out of each amp. they are no joke
