My only experience with us amps has been in my buddies vehicle with an ax1000 driving his cdt es 07's and they got loud and clean but man the sq and his sound stage were amazing. AX1000 may seem like overkill for components but the gains turned down and with head room available make it worth it. Keep in mind the es 07's are rated at 200 rms per side so they can handle some power.

definitely go with the L7's.

Are u wanting to know what the best preset memory setting is or exactly what do u want to know. For the sub on that amp as far as presets go use the memory preset 2. That is used for driving a sub.

yeh dont be hating lol givem the time the wait will be worth it ..at least u have actually seen what they look like thats alot more than some great companies can come up with <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So why is the ax-600 have less power than a year ago? Are the new ones just really underated?

I just realized that i am offically a truck and audio forum junkie.

Well I wasn't complaining just stating the current obvious. Anyways i'm new here and I appreciate informative forums and look forward to asking questions and maybe even answering some here. I remember when i was interested in us amps a long time ago and couldn't find any dedicated places for them. This is a nice thing.

Well that attitude sucks and karma always gets yah. Anyways flakko how u liking the merlin amps and why you using them instead of the ax line. Just being curious. OH and what are the dimensions of teh ax-600. US amps site won't tell me. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> yup! i warned him too... merlins are great cant complain one bit, i think one of the most solid of the usamps lines in 2005. reason im using the merlins is because there were no ax's left when i wanted to upgrade : but maybe sometime this month I AM A get some AX's to play with. as for the size, i dont know. ill let you know when they come out. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> flakko how long have u been dealing us amps? So just how much are the ax-600 underrated? The site has them at 190rms/channel but they are underated from what i understand. So the 2006 stuff what will be different between the old and new. OH come give a dog a bone. I think this what i'll be running my cdt ES-7.1 braxials off of. Good idea or not?

I just read a thread on sounddomain.com in the amplifier forum that u.s. amps is doing a recall on all 2005 ax amps. Is this true and if so why? Say it ain't so joe.
