I was planning on strapping them but I had the wrong coil config. I had D1's. Now I'm getting D2's and strap the amps down to 1 ohm. on a 16v setup, the subs should see 6k or more, I just hope I don't have to take them that high!

Well, my system is 99% percent done. But I need new 2 new 18's due to the fact I smoked my so now I'm looking at BTL's or T3's . 1/2 of my teammates suggest BTL's and the other half suggested T3's so I'm checking both. Here are a few pics of my system. Power supply my powerhouse (4 XX-goliath's) What would be the best configuration for 2 18" dual 2ohm BTL's for burping only! and can they handle10k+ if need to? advice please

Well, this battery thing is driving me crazy now... I'm getting some of my team mates suggesting that I use optima, and some say Kinetik.. well, I just I need help from the playerz that have used both.. if possible.. give me the PRO's and CON's of both! maybe this will help me deside.. My class will be STREET MAX 3~4. My system consists of 2 apx18d2's 2 MM4000.1 wired @1 ohm per sub. batteries??? you deside.. holla holla

yea team mate, I'm all over! seems like everyone is saying the same thing to me.. get as many as you can, or go by the rules for SM 3-4.. I give up asking this question.. I don't think I will every get a TECH answer! all I want to know is "how many amps does 1 MM4000.1 require to produce FULL POWER" do ya like my altar?? think they can feel me commin??

PPL, I'm in the process of building an all out SPL car. (SM 3-4) Right now, I have 2 AutoTek MM4000.1's, which will be connected to 2 ATOMIC APX18D2's. (wired@ 1 ohm per sub) Being a Kinetik dealer here in Japan, I can get the 2400 Monsters at a good price.. I used the calculator on the site and it said I needed 3 of these monsters! My goal is to get full power out of the amps(burps only!) How many batteries would you suggest? and before anyone suggest other batteries, I've already looked at: Odyssey 2150 NSB90 via Northstar and Optima g31 Yellow tops all comments are but experence is wanted holla when ya can TIA Gavin (MERRY CHRISTMAS AND a early Happy NEW YEAR to all!
