If you're asking if speakers will sound good if they're not in the stock placement, then your answer is... it's install dependent. Look into my build log, so far it's all about my doors. I had no stock speaker placement.

Sub? port? sub and port? If you can get a nice amount of space between the back wall and the port, so its not loading off with 3 inches of space between.. understand? Also, sub facing H/U could be interesting with the port loading off back wall. This is a small box, so trial error would be easy to do.
