Yeah, it sucked. I had my brass knuckles on my dash (leave em there for truck shows) and i had to take em and throw em on the passenger floorboard then like tried pushing them underneath the seat but i had to do it all stealth and shit because i didn't want him sayin' what are you trying to hide haha then it woulda been baaaaad and yeah.... **Also in build log** Okay so around 1 o'clock today i was waiting outside my girls house for her to get in my truck, she was inside getting ready and all that jazz. So, i'm waiting for a good 15 minutes then decided to kick back my key and turn my radio on.. so i'm playing some songs, and a cop drives by me and glares at me. I think, okay, hes just looking at my paint job, but then he whips around and flicks me. So i take my keys out of the ignition and place em on the dash. Figure out where my wallet was, then he comes up to my window and asks what i'm doing, where my girl lives, then asks for my license and i give it to him. He runs my number in his carputer and comes back and says well the reason i'm here is because someone called and said your music is too loud and i could wright you a disturbing the peace ticket, even though its during the day... if someones peace is being disturbed you can get a ticket for it. I explain to him how loud i had it and i wasn't trying to disturb anyone, (he was pretty chill) then he noticed my passenger door and asked "did you do that?" I said yeah, carpeted it and everything.. then we bullshitted about s series trucks cause he use to own one and then he tells me i can have my music on and i wasn't doing anything illegal being parked where i was, but not to play my music so loud i say okay, blah blah, then he leaves. **Didn't want to make it obvs that i was snappin' a picture** So... Type R 6.5s FTMFW :D :D

If you are happy with the output of the 6.5's and they blend then don't worry about changing the aiming. As far as the gain go's, the drivers might not sound distorted, but will start to sound VERY strained. What is the output voltage on your HU? you will have to look it up in the HU specs. What do you have the gain set to? what frequency and slope are you crossing the comps over at? I called Shizzzon on the phone a while back and talked to him for about an hour talking about how settin' the amp up and then bullshitted about car audio, really nice guy. I talked to DJ too, they both told me the same thing on how to set the amp up.. i know how to set the amp up

I disagree! The box can be the most easiest thing in the system! E-mail the guy in my signature, tell him the ride you have, max space you want too use, and the equipment, also add any extras/details you want to the box (tuning, ported, sealed, etc) OR if you don't know he'll figure it out for you I just ask you to tell him Domenico Zerilli sent ya! He'll give ya a 3D design AND a cut-list to make it go easy as fuck

I didn't know that, i don't pay attention to them because i find them a pain in the ass, i like setting the gain and filter on my amp and that be that. Some threads on here about AQ amps mention this, if you care enough im sure you can find em.

Gain knob, bass knob, gain control, whatever you prefer

WTF? Explain please. You haven't heard about anything like that before with the AQ amps? You have to turn the bass knob so the Clipping LED will blink to get the FULL power. You put a CD in or test tone (whatever you have) then turn it until the Clipping LED is solid then turn it down until the LED light blinks (when the bass hits)

If they fit your goals and budget then I dont see why they wouldnt be legit. Legit like how? For the price they are awesome drivers. Good cs as well. I'd say they are legit. I din't get any sticker which sucks but I'm sure I can find some somewhere. I'd say they are a real legit company. I underestimated them a little bit actually a lot. The box did not stand up to them which is my fault I had never seen screws break like that before so that was kinda cool I guess. But they are real powerful hit strong and carry the note out pretty well. I can't think of a driver to compare them to that I've heard. Maybe nightshade I guess which actually my buddy just got his 15" nightshade when we get a box built for that I will have a better comparison. The new 1500 Constant Power amps do 1000rms at 4 ohms. My mistake, didn't see the new model. That's different, an amp that does 1500watts at 2ohms or 1ohm... If you think you might want to upgrade your subwoofer down the road than I'd get an amp that makes even more power and then you'll have plenty of headroom (and since money isn't an issue ) /////Alpine baby PDX amps

You're right i don't want that hassle but it already is wired to the ignition wire. Something is fucked up with it.. it'll be all good to go but once the wires move (all wire zip tied together) the problem happens again.

I own an AQ2200 and i don't like the way it has to be set up with the bass knob to achieve the power it suppose to put out. Thats just my personal opinion though, it will push that driver great Big 3 should be done no matter what. No cap.. ever. If you get a 16V batt you need a 16V electrical system, i would get a HC 2400 (i believe thats the name) If you have the money, YES you should get the H/O because chances are you will need it. I would get the BL "fully loaded" better for the driver and way better for resale!
