  1. Did Dustin ever get back to you on the Design?
  2. Boxes are easy as fuck to make.. people think just because it plays such a big factor in this hobby it becomes X1345654321 harder, no. The design of the box is what makes it hard, not the constructing. *3/4 MDF, Titebond 3, Screws, Router/Jig Saw, Power Drill.* (Home Depot can cut your wood -- measure before leaving the store) In my signature, there is a guy that designs and builds enclosures, he can make you a design with a couple of 3D models so you can see the enclosure inside out and a cut-list which makes the job SO MUCH easier! He can add bracing, 45's, whatever the application calls for. Give him an E-mail and telling what you're wanting, equipment you'll be using, with the space and ride you have and he can take it from there and break it down to you with what you will need. -- I just ask you to notify them i referred you!!!! Electrical upgrade are NOT cheap.. but, thankfully with only 4-5kwrms (I advice you to push no more then 2.5kwrms to each btl) you won't need more then one Alternator from DC Power and a huge battery. BUT there is different routes you can take when upgrading your rides electrical system.. *I SUGGEST YOU BUY THE BIGGEST ALT YOU CAN AFFORD* You can get a 350amp Alternator and (this is where the options come) you can get a BIG FUCKIN BATT like a XS Power D3100 and use it as your starter batt and have that the only batt in your ride...OR...you can get a GOOD starter batt like a XS Power D5100/D5100R and then add a second XS Power D5100/D5100R as your secondary batt. 3. Well if the "two ol'skool fosgates" are the same then he should use them and ditch the other one.
  4. No, but I plan on using the same suede material that I used on the sub baffle when I'm done with them. When you think you'll be done with them? I don't know for sure. I'm busy as hell with building another lowrider that needs to be finished by the end of next month. So for now I'm just working on the Caddy here and there. Here is a link to the other ride I'm doing. Check the build up and you'll see why I'm not done with the Caddy yet. LayItLow.com Forums -> G-Body frame wrap I'm working on.. Nice welds noticed from your from Michigan i lived there for 16 years. What city you live in?
  5. May 20th+..... DAMN, that's a long time. Sucks for YOU! Hang in there dude.
  6. They are different equipment made by different companies, companies don't try to match drivers with other companies. Put the two 12's you have and sell the extra one to the kid down the block.
  7. Lookin' goood man I love the port color on that carpet. I seen your ad on CL.. looks legit.
  8. Don't mix and match subs....
  9. Owned Owned Owned Good luck with the next driver dude!!!

  11. Got my PDX4.100 Glamor shot Took the faceplate off where the gains and filters are located Speaker terminals for an easy and clean connection
  12. Thousands and thousands of years ago, man climbed the mountains of the gods and stole their fire. Not much had happened since then, until now. Behold, man has once again climbed the mountain of the gods, broke into their cars, and stole their audio equipment. The Mother of all Subwoofers is simply the pinnacle of all things audio. The basket is pure unobtanium, the magnets forged by Thor himself! The super stiff cone is made from the pulp of the ambrosia plant, finely woven into perfection. This amazing driver is capable of going as low as -500 antiherz! Special warning about KalecoAuto Audio Equipment: Listening to such equipment by mortals is HIGHLY ill advised!
  13. Yeah... most local shops will lie to you just for the sale or to get you in the door. -- Major fail! If you need help on designing the enclosure there is a company in my signature that is AMAZING at designing enclosures, shoot them an e-mail and i am positive they can help you. They will provide you with a couple 3D models so you can see the enclosure inside and out and a cut-list to make it retardedly easy. Just tell em i reffered ya Awesome man, will do. Really appreciate it. *just emailed them. mentioned you referred me lol No problem man, glad i could help!
  14. Then the dirty L7 is his choise.. EDIT: Show him this video -- Shook the shit out of everything.. i usually play volume at 24-26.

  16. It'll be going on the inside of my doors, all the sound deadener supplies i ordered is going to be going on the doors, i ordered everything they suggested to me.. so, it should be pretty intense.
  17. I have a shit ton of room. I fit that T-line with more than a foot to spare from gate to box, plus i had it under the rear windshield. I don't know the exact measurements, but i can find those out when i head home this weekend. Dont like having my car down at my university, too many people ganking subs around here. You need 10-20cuft if you fit that in a slot ported reg. box then i say go for it!!! Walls are fun and crazy but a SHIT ton of work and are made to not come out easy! I'll honestly end up going with a wall. I kind of want to step up from the 2200D though. Any suggestions? (dual 2 subs) With (2) dual 2ohm drivers you can either wire them down to 0.5ohms or 2ohms or... needless to say 8ohms. It'll most likely be a pain trying to find a "cheater amp" (stable at 0.5 homs) so.. you might have to look into kicker amps if you want a single amp. BUT however.. if you wanted to add another AQ2200 you could wire BTL-AQ & BTL-AQ.. i don't know how good you are on matching the gains though, you could buy a Maxx-Link for that issue. Yeah i was thinking about doing another 2200 to each sub, and i'm friends with a lot of the guys at my local audio shop who could take care tuning and whatnot. Okay, good thing he is your friend.. cause otherwise i wouldn't suggest you to take it to a local shop.. some are really sketchy. So, you are going with a wall? What kind of ride do you have? -- i missed that part. When will you be ordering the equipment?

  20. All depends on how much space you have.. 18inch BTLs take A LOT of room up!
  21. Some people push that amount of power to an 18inch BTL but.. is it really worth the risk?
  22. Did you ever put a finish on the door panels before redesigning?
