  1. I would tune to 36hz with the 15's, if you want to give em 3k each dont go with copper coils, go with aluminum.
  2. Interested in a review on that foam deadner please.
  3. Do you make designs? If so.. i'll pay you for it. I think you are going about this the wrong way if you really want it to work. No matter who designs your box, the first try will not work all that well as it is impossible to input that many variables in particular when some are unknown. I'd expect to build it three times. Considering your best bet is to start reading and learn what questions you don't know and try to understand the design. If you don't, I'd recommend you just do a ported box and call it a day. So.. you do not think it can be done with a great skill of craftsmanship and a very detailed design? I am unaware of the variables that you speak of and how it will come into effect. Please add more input.

  5. Hello my fellow SSA dudes, I'm looking to get a blow through bandpass design for 2 18" fully loaded BTL's. My truck is a 1986 GMC S15 and i will be powering them with 2 AQ2200. (if i can fit more BTLs lets do it!) Dimensions: Front to back - 6ft (72 inches) Left to right - 4ft 10inches (58 inches) Tailgate opening - 4ft 3inches (58 inches) Up and down - 1ft 3inches (15 inches) Wheel well to wheel well - 3ft 3inches (39 inches) Thanks Dom. P.S. (To my fellow SSA dudes) - sorry again you have to see my threads about this subject.. just trying to get some help!
  6. Can you make the design? unfortunately I don't sell designs anymore..... Can't make an exception?
  7. I know 2 18's will take the whole bed up, that doesn't bother me one bit. The bed cover isn't fiberglass its a snap on, i don't have a 18 speaker off hand. I'm not following you on how your box is designed.
  8. Can you make the design?
  9. SAZ amps, USA amps, RF amps.
  10. BanginGMC replied to cheese20323's topic in General Fi
What was in mind when making the FI X? Whats the rated power? SPL Comp sub? SPL Daily? SQ Daily? etc etc etc
  11. Alllllllrighty then lol -thanks for the replies. /thread.
  12. everything would be delightful
  13. First off let me start by saying i have no idea about anything when it comes to home audio.. i do know a lot about car audio though.. i don't know it that matters. The room is 10ft 1in x 10ft 6in x 10ft (ceiling) - its a entertainment room. My goal is to have something that sounds good when i Call Of Duty, watch Transformers and listen to Gucci Man. My budget is around 500 dollars. What i have in my head is some speakers in the corners of the ceiling, a sub woofer and speakers to put on stands and shit. - i dont know if thats an over-kill for what im trying to do or not.. the room is pretty small so i dont think it would take much.. Thanks for your time and if you need more information let me know!
  14. I'm not following.. ..lost..
  15. There are places to camp that don't?? All state parks, pretty much. I want to go somewhere with some cool sites and allows beer. Seems you get one or the other.... They don't actually check that at state parks there do they? No, as long as you don't flaunt it and get rowdy. I guess beer ball is out of the question.. damn Not a big deal for me as I can bring a bottle of liqour and add it in with a coke but a few guys in the party only drink beer Here you go buddy http://how2dostuff.blogspot.com/2007/11/how-to-make-stealth-can-sleeve.html
  16. I left Ecoustics to come over here, that forum was OK for starters.. the admin didnt do JACK shit! and the people always had something negative to say. When i first got here i thought it was going to be a big mess and there would be so many members that once i joined i wouldn't get people to take the time and help me out with my probs... isn't that why we are all here.. to help people, share what we know? Overall i am glad i came here, this is the only forum i log onto, which is everyday.. in my graphic design class. . . . . . NAAAHHH i just came here for the smileys!
  17. Yeah MDF soaks shit up really good, so you need to try to rig some shit up or get new weather stripping for the trunk. For now... i'd go to a store and get a sheet of plastic and put it on top of your box.
  18. If you are going to go with 1 subwoofer get an 18" so you can get more cone area. If you really want to try DC out then you should get an 18" DC LVL 5 its a monster, and its rated 2k wrms so your hifonics amp should be fine. You should get a sub that you are going to stick with.. one that will impress you for a long time, then.. when you get more paper get another one! You shouldnt spend a stack on a temp system like.. 2 12's then plan on upgrading later to a totally different set up. If it were me, id get one monster that you can upgrade by adding another one, along with another amp. this is all my opinion though, take what you want from it buddddy
  19. Alright gooood, what are your goals you want? Just to be the loudest fuckin person around right? haha like most of us on here. You should get 2 BTLs and 2 SAZ-2000D Sundown Audio - SAZ-2000D what you think?
  20. just one? well damn bro if you got the space and the paper get as many as you can! but one would rock yr shit pretttty hard. what kinda ride you got?
  21. it would be better then DC LVL 4. 2000wrms, you know the website? check it out! Fi: Get the 18inch!
  22. Did you check into a fi BTL? its a SPL(bass) monster.
  23. its all good bro, you know all about subs needing the right size box and it tuned right and you needing a big enough alternator alllllll that shit?
