The second coat of paint is drying as we speak. I was able to fix the box no problem. After the paint dries, we are going to carpet, then deliver to you! Andrew

No work progress on this one, sorry. Just it already finished and painted. Gets carpet tonight and its for someone local so no shipping. YAY!!! Andrew

Ok for the enclosure we talked about the prices are as follows. $160 for the box w/ carpet $170 for double baffle and flush mount I can meet you in like Fremont or somewhere so you can pick it up. If you just want it shipped it could be real shipping costs to the AFB. Andrew

The shop is owned by my parents so they let me paint the ports etc there because it's a nice dust free environment there. The cutting and dust making is done else where Andrew

Ok so this is what I came up with last night before my power went out. I changed the height to 22 inches because the back seats of a Tahoe are 22 inches so I think it looks funny when a box is taller than the seats. (I personally have a Tahoe) Width - 39 Height - 22 Depth - 16 4 Cubes @ 34 Hz I increased the port area a bit - 20.5 x 3.5 = 71.75 sq inches of port. These dimensions figure in double baffle due to the weight of the sub. Also let me know if you want flush mount. Sides are indented .75 inches also. Let me know what you think of this. Andrew

Squires Turbo Systems - Turbocharged Innovation! STS makes lots of rear mount kits for GM cars. Other than that I don't know of any other company that does turbos for GM cars that come in kits. Andrew

MDF is NOT acuostically dead, Just better than some of the alternatives. Please explain more. Maybe he is comparing it to a slab of marble? If we wanted to get super technical MDF and HDF are not "acoustically dead," something that would be acoustically dead would be a material that sound waves would bound off of and not penetrate hence the slab of marble. The short and simple, HDF is more acoustically dead than MDF but it will dull your tools even faster and weigh more. Persoanlly I used MDF because tools and gas are already expensive enough Andrew

M5 I'm sure you know the answer to this, but the fact has slipped my mind at this moment. I think most DMMs recycle their reading 2-3 times a second and the good ones up to 5; but the human eye can detect a dimming light at 1/20th a second? I tried my best to remember lol Andrew
