  1. That should be more than enough for one 12. I will have something done up by tonight. Andrew
  2. Jay is correct your going to be more than happy with a regular slot ported box. If thats what you want I can get it to you for $200 shipped. Andrew
  3. You could go without the aero ports and save $30. Andrew
  4. I do not think flush will be possible with only .25 of an inch on the top and bottom with the box being only 16 inches tall, and the sub being 15.5 inches tall. That does also not take into account a gap to get the sub inside the circle for the flush mount. Andrew
  5. With the Length at 35.75 will be be enough room in your trunk on the side for the port to breath? $230, and that includes shipping. Andrew
  6. Sure, I will do a google sketch up for it. It will be a 2D version as I'm still learning the ins and outs of the 3D aspect of it. Andrew
  7. Yea, Pay pal is perfect. Once I get the max dimensions I can get this design finished up and get building Andrew
  8. L - 35.75 D - 19.00 H - 15.00 Here are the revised dimensions with the depth only being 19 inches. Andrew
  9. Current design I have L - 32.25 Inches D - 21 Inches H - 15 Inches 3.6 Cubes net tuned to 30 Hz via (1) 6 Inch aero port. Double Baffle, Flush Mount, and both sides indented .75 inch. Corner bracing in all 4 corners. Let me know how that sounds. Andrew
  10. Ahhh so true. My brain is still half asleep today for some reason :/ Andrew
  11. Ok cool, I have the design just about done. Just need to know what model sub so I can figure in displacement. Andrew
  12. Ok if I could get your max dimensions that would be swell And would you like double baffle? Thanks so much, Andrew
  13. I think they help a little little bit when your running low on port area, but nothing like an aero port. Andrew
  14. Did you want a double baffle on that box? Andrew
  15. thats the first time I've read or heard anywhere . aside from the fact that a slotted port has portarea losses in the corners because of the extra turbulence and often doesnt have kerfed ends (what actually alows you to keep the port shorter) , I see no reason why an aeroport would require half the surface-area , ofcourse the inner suface of an slotted port needs to be smoothed to minimize air-turbulence in the port and that is what what a lot of people forget to do .... the way I see it : the purpose of an aeroport defeats itself when you need more than 2 of them , inner-port surface area is key , offcourse if you want to do more than 2 for aesthetic reasons or because you're to lazy to smoothen a slotted port , I've got nothing against it ... both works just fine . oh one more note , I've seen tenth's gained by smoothing an aeroport , so those aren't that smooth eighter (tuning practically did not change) . In-depth way of calculating the required length of a flared port - SSA Car Audio Forum This thread has all the math and explanations you need The exact % is roughly 56% less port area with aero ports.
  16. I'm shipping from CA, but that 170 includes shipping. But with flush mount and double baffle it will come out to $180 even. Let me know when you can give a 25% deposit so I can get building. It should only take a day to build once I get my jasper jig in (broke my old one ) Also what are you max dimensions? Andrew
  17. OK I will come up with a design and get back to you tomorrow. Andrew
  18. Well the over all height of the sub is 15.5 Inches so I guess I could make it 16 Inches tall and you would only have a half an inch on the top and bottom. Is that ok with you?
  19. If you could just give the the dimensions of your old box I will come up with a new design and see if that works for you. Also you mentioned it was too wide and too high, so do you have any objections to it taking up more of your trunk in terms of depth? Andrew
  20. We have all the tools and equipment set up so its time to get building!!! See the thread below for prices... Argent Audio Enclosure Prices - SSA Car Audio Forum

  22. Short, sweet and simple. This is just a standard slot port enclosure with some bracing.
  23. What I can do is use aero ports instead of a slot port to save space and the price would not jump much at all. What dimensions where you working with so I can get a general idea. For the Lethal Injection 15 3-4 cubes is what the IA website recommends. What size were you looking for? Also an flush mount or double baffle? Each option adds only $5. Andrew
  24. Did you want anything like flush mount or double baffle? Each option is +$5. Also every enclosure comes with Dayton Audio Gold plated terminals. Andrew
