T.C. still had production issues when they were made in the USA. But to the OP, the LMS and NS are worlds apart. The LMS truly belongs in a HT set up where bass is meant to be more felt. If your looking for loud go with the NS. Andrew

I'm thinking 1.2 cubes @ 33 HZ. With 8's you typically tune to about 35 so 33 should give them a nice clean sound. Your looking at $135 for a ported box with carpet color of your choice. If that price is good I will get a design going for you. Andrew

I'm going to do like 33HZ. I have been reading that is the happy middle point Type-R's like. Andrew

Alpine recommends 1.5 cubes but I know that is a bit small for most applications so I'm going to make it for 2.0 @ 34 HZ. For a 2.0 cube enclosure with carpet your looking at $150 plus shipping. I would recommend flush mount also to add strength and it looks pretty cool also. With flush mount the total comes out to $155. Andrew
