Looking for a broad band tweeter or broadband to be used above 1Khz
I like the idea of a broad-band speaker much better than a tweeter and I would also love to see it crossed lower. As far as I know the crossover should allow you to drop lower than 1kHz, at least on my Alpine it does and on the 9887 it does.

Welcome to the IHoP
Here's my view. Of course in winter, it's just barren land. Oh the plains. . . . One of my bosses from the US works in Iowa and commutes past corn fields. 40 minute drive, only corn fields on both sides of the road. It seems boring

Sounds like fun! I envy the cool weather. Barely above freezing without the wind chill ? Seeing those sights more than makes up for it though Last year we camped next to a lake at 6000 feet and it was pretty bad. Strong winds, heavy rain. This year we camped lower but over at the lake the wind was ridiculously strong.

Got back from the camping / hiking trip a day early. It was very cold and where we camped last year the wind was crazy. First time I was almost knocked over by wind gusts. All in all a cool trip. We even visited an old castle on the way to the camping site.

I didn't like the cider I've tried in the UK. For the past few days at camping I've been drinking plum brandy. STRONG stuff, could bring tears with a small shot. It helps tremendously in cold weather

Lasic? More than likely next year, at least that's what the budget says.

Lasic? PRK. Longer healing time, but less risk of complications, and less odds of needing glasses/surgery again. J If it is available here...

Off to buy food supplies, 5 days of camping with some of the co-workers. Sissies didn't want to camp @ 6000 feet and we're going by car and camping next to the parking lot.

That's usually how I do it. Warm-up, then the heaviest weight, 6-8 reps, 4 sets, 1 minute rest.

I really need to change my eyeglass lenses. These are really scratched up. I've tried an old pair of glasses with perfect lenses (just the wrong specs) and it feels great to look through clear glass again.

Well, I just lashed out at a customer. The idiot stressed me for 3 days, saying that his new subwoofer sounds weird in the box I made. Only to find out today that he was listening outside the car and was hearing some mechanical noise when his ear was close to the dustcap. Other than that, the sub sounded just fine. What morons...

Friday was a good time to say phew, a cousin of mine had cancer surgery, to remove part of her lung. After 8 chemo treatments the doc said he barely had anything to remove. Fingers crossed things will move on forward right.

Welcome to the IHoP
I hope no one is surprised by this. Should not be shocking news for one of the prize technologies touted on a Chrysler vehicle to be crap. Just so many reasons year after year to never touch any of their products (discounting the Viper). Speaks volumes about the billions Damlier pumped into that company and the well done tried and true tech they passed on and Chrysler is still this bad. I for one am surprised...surprised it didn't roll. The behavior is absolutely ridiculous, the behemoth jumps up and down coming out of the turn. Maybe I shouldn't laugh since I own a Jeep and mine would probably roll on that test

trying to break 155 dbs
If they act anything like the 2 BTL's I've installed in SPL setups, expect a spike of up to 6 times the DCR at the tuning frequency.
