  1. Today is back and shoulders with some legs. I wasn't able to squat last week because of the silly road rash.. But I did manage to deadlift 220 lbs on Sunday, which is great

Just to make it clear, Re is Re, nominal resistance is a different thing. If impedance is always = Re + Xe, where Xe = reactance, then you will never drop below Re. But if you have a 2 ohm nominal subwoofer, with an Re of 1.4 ohms you will drop below 2 ohms.
  3. You mention linear spiders and longer winding width...any particular reason not to use FI recones ?
  4. Crap, I went to 3 parts stores today and forgot to ask about some cheap copper line to hook up my boost gauge
  5. Beating your shins with a steel pipe ? WTH ?!?!?
  6. Stupid moped started acting up again. Wouldn't start and if I could start it it would run very low on power. Cleaned the carb, nothing. I swear, I changed everything I could and was advised to, apart from the block and the reed valves. The reed valves are cheap enough to try and if they don't fix it I'll set it on fire. Most of my frustration comes from the fact that even when I took it to three shops, none could figure out that a clogged exhaust was the problem. So if I can't figure it out myself...tough shit...
  7. Went last night to a party which was supposed to have some drinking games and shenenigans. I ended up drinking a few shots of vodka while all the other people were sober. Booo
  8. Pretty bad use of the picture
  9. Road rash fucking stings. Seems like the fall was much tougher than I first thought. Slight swelling of the whole lower leg, a couple of bruises here and there.
  10. Total Recall, what else
  11. Six point oh's are prone to such failures, sadly. AFAIK the oil cooler is the first to go and then takes out everything. The more you ignore it, the worse it becomes, up to the point of a ruined block. Get on dieselbombers.com and see what those people have to say.
  12. Office etiquette booo
  13. Went looking for some replacement pants today and still couldn't find shit to fit me. 36 waist and thick legs when the everything is centered around men with legs as thick as my forearms.
  14. If there was a word stronger than loath, despise, or hate it would come close to how I feel about pedal bikers on the roads here in MN.Most inconsiderate, do what they want, over protected group of shit fuck ass tards out there. I'm sure you don't break the laws and endanger yourself like they do, but here their protection from doing wrong is so far out there.I'm mad just thinking about them.:-D I can understand the frustration, when they abuse their protection it's stupid. However over here you have to really hug the curb, pedal bike, motor bike, moped, whatever 2 wheel vehicle you have. And still have cars come 4-5 inches of the handlebars. Some even tried to push me out so they can advance 1 fucking spot in a queue. They would knock you over to get 6 feet closer to the intersection. Heck, one idiot cut me off right entering the parking lot at work. Really, you can't stand an extra 10 seconds ?!? Truth be told, violence won't cure this.
  15. Man, get back in the Jeep. 2 miles to work are really really not worth doing by car Shit, I'd do them in the backhoe. Now that imposes respect. Only had one fool do something stupid when I was driving it and I was close to making his car a write off.
  16. To add to the frustration, a very good buddy of mine called me a few hours afterwards and told me he crashed his bike a week ago. Some driver made a left turn in front of him, no turn signals, no warning, nothing. Ended up with his right hand through the window and he needed a few stitches.
  17. Sadly, respect for anything on 2 wheels here is below the level of the Dead Sea. I was pleasantly shocked to see the level of respect in York.
  18. Fell off the bike this morning. On my way to work a car was waiting to come out of a side road, I hear the engine revved high and it starts to move. I swerve to give it some room, hit a patch of sand and off I went. Got some nasty road rash on my right leg and ripped my pants, no other damage thankfully. And the fucking gypsies who were in the car didn't even bother to ask if I'm still alive. They just took off. One of these days I'm going to maul some stupid driver. Right in the forehead with a 2 lbs hammer. Retards...
  19. Just noticed this today: DC Creations Professionally built and designed sub-woofer enclosures shipped world wide! You have got to be kidding me, if you can afford to pay overseas shipping on an enclosure you must be able to find a good fabricator around....
  20. During the week I was working on the install I was right around 1.5 gallons / day. This damn heat drains you !
  21. Trying to break in the BTL, playing 15hz on my PA amp and the fans kicked in on high in 5 minutes of play time. I need more power or more fans
  22. If that is the case you should come visit me. If it only were that easy...maybe some day...who knows
  23. 4 hours of work on an SPL setup, I've reused an old box and scored an easy $100
  24. Ate some trout today, it was absolutely delicious. Best cooked fish I ever ate
  25. I'll assume by sound you mean you'd rather use it as acoustically you sure as shit aren't going to hear a difference. European Beech Ply is very strong and ridiculously expensive. The guy at the wood shop recommended it over Birch for strength.
