I use ear plugs and ear muffs when burping the Jeep and it still hurts. It's slightly louder on the meter with me inside so I have to put up with it... And all the customers which I build spl boxes for get a pair of ear muffs. There's nothing worse than rattling your brains out.

Lol weeeak! My friends truck burped a 160 with 3 bad subs at 35 hz THAT is nuts. It crushes low too, one of the songs i heard (idk title) had skull cracking upper bass then a quick low note that almost made me puke lol I never understood the fascination in 'listening' at those levels... Personally I've sat in cars that could bass race 145 all sealed up and it's way too much to call it listening.

We get xxxx'ed every month in the winter. It just sucks and it's not such a big house either...

That's one of the things to do at the country house. 1 room + the whole attic (480 sqft) to prep for paint.

What EGT are you looking at? I've got a dual Koso on the IQr. ISSPro make a cool color-coded one, complete kit (gauge, probe, lead wire) is ~$140. I already have VDO boost and oil temperature gauges but I want color-coded EGT and VDO doesn't make that. $140 is sweet. If you need the gauge to be waterproof they get a bit more spendy. Previous owner dropped $400 on the one on my snowmobile. Makes me want to add AFR to have a really complete monitoring system. Any ideas on cheap AFR gauges that are waterproof? Did you check egauges.com ? I couldn't find anyone to match their prices, apart from the boost gauge, which is a popular item... It would be cool to get some flare orders in to finance the EGT gauge.

About 2 weeks after I got hired there was a training session and I started writing down acronyms and asking them as soon as there was time to do that.

Fuck, I think I am going to buy a pair of Extremis 6.8. Seems like the most bang for the buck midbass in 6.5-7" variety. I don't want to step up to an 8" midbass. It's going to delay the EGT gauge but wth, I can buy that later, the Extremis are available now...

Yes. Way less stress. In the gym 2 times a day sometimes. Lots of hot tub sets! Hot tub sets ? Yes after many lifting sets, I go sit in the hot tub. I call this hot tub sets. Makes sense now. Congrats on the progress I'm not progressing as fast on weight but strength is definitely going up He's lying. He bench presses me sitting in a hot tub on weekends. We keep his wife in the kitchen in shit while it's happening. Actual LOL

Awesome work ! ! ! Whenever I want to wrap something in vinyl I add a thin layer of closed cell foam (3mm at most) under the vinyl so the end result will have a nice feel and hide some imperfections. You could try that with suede. Also, try to attach it to the door mostly instead of the door panel. Keep the door panel as less connected to the enclosure as possible.
- Happy Birthday Impious!

I had to do that on the side of the road for the Jeep. Seems like my ignition switch is tired. Rockauto, here I come...

easy enough fix. All my new electric problems ended up being a starter. That was put in wrong by the last mechanics..... I can finally plug in my tuner. At last, took the shops long enough to figure it out

Nothing you can do now, but let it work its way out. Next time you do this, do NOT wash up with hot water. It opens your pores and allows the fibers to embed themselves deeper in your skin. Beat me to it...

Don't wash with warm water but I have a suspicion you already did.. I never had issues with rash from sanding FG.

Hmmm, W18 + FF85k in the Jeep ? Truthfully you'd be better off with the ER's or CA's. The extra clarity in the lower midrange of the Excel isn't really the right thing to compromise in a car. CA's would have been my second option. I wonder if they are an improvement over the Mach 5 MLI's. I guess I should try mine one day since I think they use the same mounting hole... Huge improvement in every aspect. Would feel sort of like a wasting the potential for midrange since my midbass is LP'ed at 200Hz. Gah, this has me thinking now about a pair of Extremis 6.8. I don't want to step up to an SLS8 since it's way too much weight for the doors. How much do you want for the CA18's ? Won't shipping be your bitch? If you are only going to 200Hz either the Extremis or Ex Anarchy would be a better choice. More or less, yes. There's a pair of Extremis 6.8 on DIYMA, I've contacted the guy a few months ago and seems he still has them now...weird...maybe it's a sign...

Channels? Man my brain must be off. Just carried 37 sheets of sheet rock down the stairs so I know why that might be the case... Grooves seems more appropriate, my terminology is off, direct translation from romanian doesn't work all the time
