  1. So tempted to buy 2 Orphans, maybe I can pay for one and convince Mike to hold a second till the next paycheck...
  2. Have you ever heard of high-temperature paint ? Even that's not needed. I painted my first Mustang's calipers with a standard urethane basecoat/clearcoat and never had an issue and I was HARD on brakes on that car. I'd never put covers on anything designed to dissipate heat either. Same as we used on the VW but that wasn't a performance car
  3. Have you ever heard of high-temperature paint ?
  4. I can try...you basically need to write a function to describe the sine wave and write the phases. Or I can build the data with a small application and just dump it in an excel.
  5. Skars I hope
  6. DIY. Stole them from some buildlog since i wanted something similar. Dad got bored one day and built something similar for my mids, all soldered, not welded. I'll have to dig up pics.
  7. I'll keep running the MT's in hopes of a snowpocalypse If snow will be over 20 inches, I promise I'll go to work with the backhoe

  15. 39.3 inches of port area with two 3 inch ports.. 88.7 inches of port area with one 6 inch port.. Your math is way off Area = radius*radius*pi. 2 3" ports = 14.13 sq in. 1 6" port = 28.26 sq in.
  16. Boo I was sleepy all day and had to follow some procedures written by the indian software team. Didn't understand a thing :|
  17. Traction and power.. Absolutely funny to see the driver in overalls
  18. I now have teh power, I found a HUGE catalogue with nozzles Just like one guy who was bluffing that he is looking on the "global parts store" and he was actually on the Case parts catalog. I informed him on which page the part I need is and he was way more respectful. Obviously didn't get the part from him
  19. I hate shops that want to take me for a ride. Took the injectors off the backhoe to get checked, one place said they are ok and it's the injection pump at fault, or a badly worn engine. Yeah right, a badly worn engine in within 100 hours of operation and with all maintenance good (oil checked every couple of weeks). They even said injectors opening at way lower pressure than recommended is ok... 2 other shops have confirmed the injectors are bad. I hope they didn't want me to order nozzles from them because I sure won't buy overpriced things from the local market. GAH, everybody is out to take my money.
  20. 'grats !
