Welcome to the IHoP
Musicone.fm do it, trust me. Been tuned in for nearly 7 years. Between sorting out what music I have and not listening to anything at work I haven't listened to it in quite a while

Try it lower, 80hz seems is pretty high. Also, less is more on slopes. I have it at 50hz with 12db/octave slope. With the power you have the ER18's should definitely take it. Not sure if your EA4000 is identical to mine, but on mine you can't defeat the crossover, so I set it to 30hz.

Did you try to play around with the phase ? Midbass > sub-bass. And somebody else around here will confirm that The other system is long gone, subs blew and no recones are available for Polk subs. So it's down to this system to defend the honor on 15-16th October. And I have to beat my 151 so lots of work ahead.

Welcome to the IHoP
Stefan, since you asked, here is a pic of what I've been working on for 2 afternoons. FI SE 15, 1800w amp, single battery up front, it does 146.0 dbdrag style. Very little tuning time so much more to gain there hopefully. With the box sealed up it peaks at 55hz and with the current tuning it peaks at 49-50. Goal is 147.5+, should beat the record in it's class, set by another car built by me

Welcome to the IHoP
Cross your fingers. Flood the IHOP with pics of the projects, just like me. Give me a sec It's only SPL work for now so not a lot of pics, just a lot of work.

Welcome to the IHoP
At least 2 weekends in October are booked with projects. And seems like all the afternoons in the next two weeks are booked with audio stuff. I just hope the weather stays warm.

How are you liking the new job? I like it a lot. Not stressful like a small company and the whole team is young, so we all get along well.

Welcome to the IHoP
Just got back from the teambuilding trip. Had a few people from the US, one guy from the UK and the whole team at work.

Welcome to the IHoP
Too late now, but drywall screws work so nice and never gave me problems.

Welcome to the IHoP
Looking good ! I'd clear coat them ASAP.

Welcome to the IHoP
Doh, why the eff care about passengers if 90% of the time it's only you in the car ? They wouldn't appreciate the effort either way.

Welcome to the IHoP
I think the cat got him. They don't get along at all

Welcome to the IHoP
Tried it with a neighbor who was curious, 50m away and it bothers the eyes more than a regular headlight.

Welcome to the IHoP
After you look into it for a split second you will see spots for quite a bit. It's ridiculous. I can't wait to build one out of 100 LED's.

Welcome to the IHoP
See the last pic, they are on a random radiator I found laying around. Next big hurdles before I can have something like that on the car: new power supply, radiator, lexan, case.

Welcome to the IHoP
As soon as I have a new power supply, I will go to a dark road and do headlight vs led comparisons.

Welcome to the IHoP
Are pics ok for now ? Same camera settings, S90 on manual. 6 3w LED's with 8 degree dispersion lens. This will do for now, the power supply really needs to be changed.

Welcome to the IHoP
Eff hid's, 100w worth of LED's will melt things

Welcome to the IHoP
YES, the LED's are super-fucking-awesome. 6 of them with 8 degree dispersion lens are VERY bright. I do need a new power supply, apparently it needs to be constant current, not constant voltage. I found a schematic, probably going to build it Monday and test the prototype some more.

Welcome to the IHoP
That's the DIY helicopter kit ! I always wanted one of those

Welcome to the IHoP
Am not ! Finished a prototype LED power supply, cut some wood for the work bench and installed a huge vice, organized some stuff in the garage (ever since moving i nothing was in place) and put together a customer's SPL box. Sweet What sort of supply? Amplified zenner, it's in the pics, very tiny. Don't have an inductance meter yet to build a buck converter. High power app? Depends on what Darlington transistors I can find. Parts shop said they had some 60A ones. 50 LED's shouldn't be a problem for a 60A transistor. Went to a movie tonight otherwise the 9 LED proto would have been ready. Weekend out of town (company payed trip), maybe I'll finish it tomorrow afternoon Dying to see what yours is for Car, backhoe, anything that needs bright lights.
