  1. A Chinese LED supplier keeps offering me good prices on LED's for the light project. Can't wait to start on that project.
  2. We need more details, otherwise we will go around in circles.
  3. The preferred size Unfortunately molds will not be available for purchase.

I have mine in 0.5cf sealed, using it on a Zapco AG750 bridged at 8 ohms. Zapco says 350w, could be a little under-rated. I don't have a subsonic filter and it's too much power (mechanically) under 35hz. Obviously if I keep it smart it's no problem. As far as sound goes, it's a very accurate sub with good low-end extension.
  5. Upper back pain Unknown cause but I don't like it, especially with a week of hiking starting Friday morning. Going to camp at ~6500 feet and hike around some of the tallest peaks in the country
  6. Nobody is parting out 91-93 diesel XJ's. They had an oem boost gauge and I want one instead of the voltmeter. And I lost the number of a guy who had a dash with the boost gauge
  7. Waiting for an quote on running electrical lines to the country house. Expecting in excess of $5000 but it's going to be split in 5 or 6 (each house in the area where there will be a line).
  8. Water helps a lot when drinking heavily
  9. Whoa, that sounds like a heavy night
  10. Seems that it's an ANSI standard and it matches what I've found previously.. Easy to obtain ? So far Schedule 40 seems to be the winner.
  11. A coupler is very easy to do. Going to build it at the same time as the rest of the molds. Thank you for the feedback Sean ! http://www.harvel.com/pipepvc-sch40-80-dim.asp and on other websites and the ID for schedule 40 varies ~0.04" which is minuscule. OD stays the same. I originally liked the standard since it won't give people headaches when finding pipe. I know the pair I've built for somebody to use on a sonotube in the US required some searching and modifying the tube. It can be made to work with black sewage pipe too but I'm concerned about wall thickness. Too thick doesn't help unless the black pipe is cheaper and easier to find. However, once the mold is done, it's done, no turning back.
  12. After being caught up with other work for too long, it's time for these !!! I have a free week to build the molds and I want to ask again about the pipe used. Schedule 40 PVC or Sonotube ? The nice part about Schedule 40 is that it's standard and has only slight variations from the standard so the flares will fit on it without concerns. Any advantages to Sonotube, apart from cost ? From what I can gather it varies a lot and I don't want people to have a very hard time finding tube for the flares. I really want some opinions on these since once I start the mold there's no turning back.
  13. Try a different pad brand. EBC for instance
  14. Damn media players...after a new HDD in the Ipod the battery went kaput in 2 weeks.
  15. Awesomely lucky... I really wasn't looking forward to forking out money for data recovery.
  16. Actually it was the fuel pin and the governor spring More fuel there was no fuel pin on the 94+ models it was a fuel plate and the gov was the same only allowing it to rev i think 3,000. 96-98 the pump just had bigger veins i should no lol ive swapped the pumps on a couple motors my buddy collects the damn things has about 6 motors only the ve motors like my white truck has fuel pins and yes freezers are one of the tricks we use here to recover data from a failing drive !! Yours had a VE pump...hmm. Either way, 250hp and that much torque is awesome for such small mods.

  18. Freezing the old HDD worked. Took it out of the freezer after 3 hours, connected it to the pc and I could back-up everything from it. Currently it works just like nothing happened.
  19. Aren't those the years when they had the most powerful 5.9 12 valve ? 215HP and lots and lots of torque. not sure about displacement but yes still the 12v and mechanical cummins 89-2006 was 5.9 and then went to a 6.7 98 it went to 24 valve and in 03-04 ? it went to common rail i loved my 91.5 first year they came with intercooler i sold it no to long ago to start my dj business she was slightly modded with a 5spd turned up pump- dennyt fuel pin- 3200spring she was about 250hp and 5-600 ft pound torque and would rip the tires loose at 30mph was making 35+ psi boost when i sold her i miss her Very clean truck ! I'd love to own one of those. Or a 4bt in the Jeep...
  20. Aren't those the years when they had the most powerful 5.9 12 valve ? 215HP and lots and lots of torque. not sure about displacement but yes still the 12v and mechanical I double checked the wiki page and 96-98 is the year the 12v was the most powerful. 99 saw the introduction of the 24v (still 5.9) and electronic fuel management.

  22. x2. The older, mechanical Cummins are extremely reliable engines. The newer ones, after 99 are still very good. Better than the Ford or Chevy offerings.
  23. FUCK, one of my HDD's crashed. I had tons of documents, all my school work and all my music on it. Hopefully freezing it will get it alive. At least for 10 minutes so I can copy what's important. If not, I'll have to fork out $$ to get the data recovered
  24. But at least the outside temperatures are correct for this time.
  25. Tired.
