We installed the sub and amp in the parking lot. No testing, just a straight burp. The port in the Jeep was just calculated to tune like the 8" aero, no tweaking there either. The Jeep's electrical system is a joke honestly. Only getting around 3500w out of the Z1 and installed in the buddy's car I've seen an extra 1000w. Special deadener for the roof is also coming. N3 will go in another car which peaks at 57hz. So, another box, 10" aero too, loads more work. Thanks for the kind comments guys !

N3 in a buddy's ride did a 150.0, at 42hz. It was just a straight swap with the old style BTL. Mine (old style) did 151.0 in the old box and with a 10" aero. Decent scores for 12's, I think...

Just putting up some pics of a small meet I attended last weekend. It was pretty fun spending a couple days around people you only knew online or met at car shows. We rented a small guest house for the night and the owners were kind enough to let us do our thing in their parking lot.

No noise on all 3 9887 setups I've heard. Personally I'd pick the Alpine 9887 over the Pioneer 880 because of the ability to high-pass the tweeter channel as low as 20hz. If you want to run a midbass + fullrange setup you need that flexibility. However you lose L/R EQ, which is also a very good tool. 9855 and 9835 sadly lack L/R level for each band.
