  1. One of my first customers called me today, he just bought a 4x4 and wants to go off-roading. Kind of cool I think
  2. I hate you If only the 5100's would fit a stock height Cherokee
  3. Bilstein www.eshocks.com They have very good prices.
  4. Then how is gluing the wood to the steel any different than using screws ?
  5. X2 on the saw dust and wood glue mixture. When that stuff cures, it's awesome Put it either on the inside seam or take the bottom panel off and put some between the panels.
  6. Why didn't you drill some holes in the steel and fasten it to the wood with wood screws ?
  7. Happy Birthday ! ! !
  8. As of this weekend, 151.0 dB Drag style, with 1 BTL 12 powered by 1 DD Z1.
  9. 60 and nothing more on the Jeep. Tomorrow the mud terrains go back on. I'll just burn the old tires, they annoyed me too much. You have leafs which are different a bit.
  10. Failed aircraft engine makers
  11. Same goes for a 15 year old Jeep. Although it's decent for the age and suspension construction...
  12. It's fun to watch. I had dad drive and watched for death wobble, couldn't spot it. I suspect he didn't go over 60 though... How are your ball joints? My boys jeep had that and I changed out a few front end pieces and things are good. Everything is ok. With the more aggressive tires, which are balanced right, I can get up to 75 without problems. I'm going to blame this on tire balance
  13. Mine was very cheap. The HDD died last week, should be a quick $30 fix.

  15. Old All Terrain's installed on the new rims. Seems they hardened in storage, the guy at the tire shop couldn't balance them. Put them on, went for a ride and over 60mph I get death wobble. I remember some death wobble in the past but it's worse now. Going to keep them on for this weekend trip since I will rarely have room to go over 60. On the other hand I hate drum brakes. Once I find a D44, goodbye drums forever.
  16. Thanks ! Kills my mind when implementing... Most of the credit for the look goes to Chris Yato, he built the car I'm trying to copy
  17. I love parentheses. If you end up with 48 / 2 * 12 you solve it left to right...
  18. Metric is more better !

  20. Thanks guys ! Maybe I should start a build log...
  21. Honda progress: Finally got pissed of looking at a fiberglass pillar and tried my hands at vinyl wrapping. Going to leave the string around it until morning, I may have been to enthusiastic and didn't wait fir the glue to cure right in one spot.
  22. Boo
  23. Honda deadline got pushed back a week. Thank God. I couldn't have finished even if I worked non-stop until Saturday morning.
  24. I'd love less heat. But then again it's a black car so it's hell-like by default in the summer.
