I HATE people with extremely bright headlights (The HID's).. especially on raised trucks... My car is low so i get these assholes headlights straight in my face and i hate it.. even when my windows are tinted at 20% Same here. My last Mustang was the worst as it was so low, I was even in direct line with several normal vehicles. I always feel bad when I'm driving the backhoe at night (back from work, duh). Headlights are taller than anything and it blinds people

Snow is better than rain. Seriously though, I need to get some new all season shoes on the Honda, I am thinking the Goodyear Eagles. Anyone have any experience with these tires in snow ? OR any other comments on these tires or another recommendation for a tire? I am looking for a VERY queit tire is why I am interested in the GYs, and assume they will wear well and last. Are those summer tires ? We had Pirelli P6000's on the VW, they wore like iron and quiet but on snow they sucked so bad the car felt like a luge...

I did get quite lucky with how the doors are built. Very easy to deaden. I have an idea that I want to try with sealing the doors with leaving the 6.5's mounted where they are with using a 6" PVC coupler. I guess you have to see where the speaker is mounted compared to stock. The speaker is mounted to the outside door panel itself. The factory location is 4ish inches directly behind where it is now. It is simple and not only will seal the door but also give the speaker something very solid to mount too. I'll have to look at it a little more and see if it can be done yet or not. I'll keep you guys updated! Find a way to mount solidly to the inner door skin. Fitting the speaker in place of the stock one is ideal in these cars as far as midbass goes but then you wouldn't get good performance higher up in the spectrum.

Mike, are the 1/4-20 hurricane nuts compatible with some metric thread ?

After reviewing the specs I'm pretty much sold... Find me an Ipod, hook up rockbox, and get that dude to push FLAC through the w505 and to the H701 via optical cable??? I think so... I'm not sure if the rockbox'd Ipod can still retain all the functionality when connected to the W505.
