And yes I have floor tickets for this show, SO I will remember to eat my Wheaties. I have a lot of respect for the older guys who will hang with the kids on the floor at shows, it gets pretty hairy sometimes. Ya mosh pits can get pretty crazy. vibration is only bad if you can hear it. like your license plate, trunk lid, change in your ashtray, or other annoyances. feeling vibrations on the the box is perfectly fine. as long as you have it secured so it doesnt move around youll be fine. now the panels of the box flexing can be detrimental. i dont think that box is big enough to have to worry about massive flex but you could brace it if it helps you sleep at night. Panel flex = peakiness in response first and foremost. It's not good.

That's a no-brainer. . You hooked the power antenna lead up for the remote turn-on instead. When you switch to a source different from the tuner, it switches the antenna lead off and likewise, your amplifier. Switch the leads and you should be good. The unit should have a separate wire for amplification control. I wired up a button for my antenna when I had the 9813...the same day I installed the 9835 and it switched the antenna wire. Nice to find after cutting a hole in the dash

No way it could cause such problems. It would shoot it into clipping, just like turning the gain all the way up. Was the amp mounted on the box ?

I learned that while changing the bearings on an MK3 Golf. And thankfully I sold a spare rear axle to somebody because his mechanic overtightened the hub nuts causing both bearings to fail Glad you got to the bottom of it.

Go fast mods or audio mods? Not quite go-fast mods, more of an attempt to improve reliability. Air-water intercooler from a Celica, Bilsteins up front, oil radiator. Intake manifold seems to be a bit colder to touch compared to without wrap.

More flare orders, if all goes smooth I might do the car mods faster than expected

Heatwrap on the exhaust is a painstaking job. Almost done but had to do it from 3 pieces to cover everything right. And the damn thing weighs a ton. Cast iron FTL.
