  8. Oh dear, I hope it doesn't hit the streets looking like that.
  9. The first time I got into the boost in my GT it scared the shit out of me. I'd never driven a boosted car before, aside from my 2.3Ts, and I was looking for instant acceleration and it didn't happen. Once I got the revs up though and the boost came on, it got pretty hairy so I let off. You quickly become accustomed to speed though and find yourself looking for more. I heard that the turbo'ed 2.3's are nifty. Any power figures for them ? Mine were all stock, but I've seen them anywhere from that to upwards of 800+. A long time ago, Roush actually had one they raced that they partnered with Ford on and made a 4V head. I love that little engine. Interesting stuff. I've seen a clip with a tiny old jeep with a 2.3 turbo, the buy could barely keep it pointed straight on gravel roads

  11. I'd go crazy to wait so much in traffic

  13. Sorry to hear that As much as you know it comes it still hurts alot
  14. So your room and / or your headphones are ideal laboratory conditions ? Last time you were boasting you can hear well over 30khz.
  15. Even so, I'd still love a small go-fast car.
  16. If an LS2 C6 was enough to scare me I wonder how the ZR1 is
  17. Late top
  18. The oldest surviving web pages - Telegraph Pretty cool to see how the web looked some time ago
  19. Post some gut pics for me please Or pm if they aren't "allowed" in public. I'll try and get some gut pics from my buddy Bill. I was playing around with bass again...... They would be very appreciated
  20. Hmmm, Dana 60 you say...might have to keep that in mind in case I ever want 35's on the Jeep
  21. Is that a Ford 9" in that rear end? By the looks of it it is, hence my comment below the pic The owner said it's a "custom made 40 spline axle, ordered from the us". Me thinks it's just a well trussed 9 inch housing.
  22. E34 M5 "body" and engine (and gearbox I think), tubular chassis, the owner wants to hit the 1000hp mark and 9 seconds in the quarter. Funny to see an american rear axle in a local project.
  23. Fuck cold. I hope February is warmer a bit. I've got things to do outside
  24. Why exactly would that make it better? When they are mounted at right angles, they are very prone to failure due to vibration. When they are mounted straight(or almost ) up, the stress is taken off the legs of the mosfets. That is one very fast way to get an idea for build quality. Correct. Failure happens due to vibration, the legs break off. Anything but perpendicular is good. Look at Sundowns, dd z1 (opposed to the z1a) and the list can go on.
  25. Glad I could fix my DMM with parts from a cheaper one. Saved a good $30 on that Now it's time to charge the battery and test some amps.
