  2. Blame your box, your score should be much higher for what you have. I'd surely rebuild before spending another dollar. x2 You need to redesign that thing.. apparently it doesn't do the trick.. wood's cheaper than anything else you'll change.. I will rebuild soon. But more power is needed anyway. I've already got everything in motion for my 2000's. So once I get them, I'll test and if it's still weak as hell then I will rebuild. Alan says nothing can really be said untill I get more power on them and we get to do some good long testing with it. I'm not just ganna give up on it. There is alot I need to do before I consider it a lost cause. Go ahead and follow bad advice. Your problem is your enclosure. Agreed. Been getting such numbers with a lesser 18 and 750w. More power will get you a higher score but it's no replacement for a good enclosure.
  3. Alright. I get what you are saying. The RTA is useless to me unless I plan on doing a SQ competition. Other than that it is pointless because it will most likely sound like crap to me even though it was probably intended to sound like that. I guess it would be better without because everyone has different preferences in the way that they listen to music. Some people like to hear symbols and whatnot while others like to hear more drumpedal notes. IMO it isn't very useful even if you want to compete because you won't find a judge who likes a ruler-flat response. Plus the sensitivity of the ears is not flat.
  4. Have you tried some different speakers on the amp to see if it does the same thing ?
  5. I'm not familiar with the Fusion components, are they 2 ohm or 4 ohm versions ?
  6. Overheating ? What model is it and what speakers did you wire to it ?
  7. Awesome song ! ! !

  9. What size fuse? Depends on what size fuse you use.
  10. More fiberglass fun today. At least I'm done with working only inside the car. Just need to figure out how to aim the mids and after that it's easy.
  11. bass is always omnidirectional. there is no exception to that. and yes, like normal people, there has been plenty of times that i hear a loud system, and look into a crowd of cars and have a difficult time telling which one it is. hmm... maybe im just weird? the only way u can tell where its coming from, is when the volume gradually increases as it gets closer, peaks in volume, and then gradually decreases as it gets farther away. other than that, bass has been and will always be dubbed omnidirectional. Bass is omnidirectional to a certain frequency which to every human is different. Personally I can EASILY localize 50hz so if you are playing your subs higher than that you are wrong. On top of that you did break the law by being an ass. NO ONE wants to hear your crap music so don't make them. Personally I think you should be fined more as maybe it would stop this sort of crap from happening. so 300 dollars can be a lot of money to some people. Then you should learn to go by the rules so you don't have to pay for your mistakes. Acting humble around cops is going to get you a long way. I know it got me out of trouble 2 times...
  12. I think you need a diffrent approach for getting louder. More power would get you a higher number but still not as high as it should be. Something is skewy in the box design. Seal the wall. Chop off some of the port.
  13. The Shelby Daytona ? That was just $7.25M
  14. The rate I posted is USPS. Can't beat that with ups, fedex or dhl, even if you have a bajilion accounts with them.
  15. Who teh eff tries to fix amps by replacing 'blown' parts with the wrong ones ?
  16. I still need to get dad to quit smoking
  17. Karma got you...for stealing my top Karma's a bitch
  18. Why do you personally think x-max is so important in a sealed enclosure application? Because in the case of sealed and IB applications the more displacement you have the more output you have.
  19. Shipping cost is somewhere around $150.
  20. FFFFFFUUUUU, I missed a good Zapco 650.6 which went for $300 with a complete wiring kit and 3 pairs of RCA's
  21. Good luck Matt !
  22. x2 Having nothing to do drives me crazy.
  23. Nice looking car
  24. Meh, those ports are small That is a cutout for an 18. If you don't plan on a competition-only box, go for a regular slot port. Port area for competition, build and test is the only way of knowing for sure which is best.
