  5. If you want to start replacing just the parts that are obviously blown and this is your first endeavour, I suggest you to send it somewhere to get it repaired.
  6. The dd's in the last pic are actually a 10 and an 18
  7. Still dreaming about a 930 turbo....
  8. Remember the mythbusters test with crashing a small car bwteeen 2 semi's ? This is what I saw yesterday morning. Driver escaped with a broken leg.
  9. A guy down the street from my parents has one for sale. He's been trying to sell it for 3 years. I was thinking about taking a look at it just for shits & giggles, but I'd rather have 4 more cylinders. An S2? The plain 944 is a dog, but a hell of a winter car with snowshoes. Unbelievably fun in the shittiest ice. Hell super easy car to drive really fast. I haven't owned an S2, but have driven a couple. Owned a Turbo S and miss that car. Roomate had a plain for a DD. Actually it's a 924, but I group them all together. From my understanding, they are all very similar (924, 44, 64). 68 not 64 and there is a HUGE difference in engine performance between them. You NEED the extra valves or the turbo Totally diffrent animals. IIRC the 968 came with an auto v8. 964 is the code for a generation of 911
  10. 924's / 944's are high on my favourite car list
  11. Good news with the leg
  12. Mosquitos must be in love with me and I'm not sharing the feeling.... Every time I stay outside in shorts and t-shirt the next day I'm full of musquito bites
  13. I'd compare my rli to the mille as far as how good it sounds. I bet the orphan would sound the same, or even better than the ebx's in a good box. Not sure how it compares as far as output. I've only heard the mille 18 and 15
  14. Welcome Tim ! Home audio is more rewarding imo

  20. Sad but true
  21. Fuck, I was hoping that was only the case in countries not so developed. This definately means there's no hope for us. Worldwide problem; however, I will add that taking the approach to not vote promotes it further. The more people that voice their concern and vote for who they want to the better. I agree that not voting will promote that. There was a very low percent of people who voted in the recent euro-parliament elections. I personally feel bad for not voting even though it makes me sick to see the candidates. Over here the was a huge scandal with the president's daughter (a complete worthless pile, can't even say 2 phrases) who got elected and used public money for the campain. The press discovered the whole deal. Even though she ran as an independent, there was a party who voted for her on order from the president. The minister who hid the fact that she used public money ultimatey resigned and the president, who kept quiet since the scandal started, began to throw accusations left and right. Sad part is the majority of the voters are plain old stupid and will keep voting for him. I'd rather chop off a finger than vote for the current president.
  22. fuck cheap tools. I've got 2 boxes to build and since dad is in the hospital I've got nobody to help cut mdf on the table saw. Which means I'm stuck with the cheap circular saw which sucks big time. A bit frustrated but I'll try to come up with some wings for the table saw. Just need to get some rough cuts, 1/4" wasted isn't a big problem...getting everything cut is the problem.
