Teh rebuild ! Going to test out a port like sundown uses. I'll still have the 12 inch flared port to test and see how the new box volume / size works compared to the old one. And there also is room for a square port on one of the sides. Need to get the mids and 9835 in so they are functional by this weekend. Box and testing also needs to be completed by this weekend. So much to do, so little time.

From what I have found when adjusting with 0dB tones is that the sub doesn't sound too loud when playing music. Ever sinec that I always adjusted sub amps by ear. Either untill it's enough bass or untill it starts to sound distorted and back off a little.

saw that story a while back, apparently no one was hurt but the deer. could you imagine the surprise of hitting a deer along with a blast of hot blood in your face though? i bet they were shaken up pretty bad. That experience can definately lead to some nightmares

Don't forget to have the speakers connected when testing Use a 50hz tone for the sub amp and 1kHz tone for the component amp.

I've had some 'car audio' wire sit in direct sunlight for a whole summer and the color faded away. I should also mention that I heated the living live out of some welding wire with a hot air gun up to the point where I could solder the wire and the insulation was just like new. Always going to use welding wire for my installs. Cheap and durable.

I agree! I dislike the white Don't worry the white won't last long. The old skins cannot port over to the new version of the software. But Mark is already in talks with the people that did the "bloodred" & "graphite" skin about building one for the new software. The standard does indeed feel too white. Chrome is working ok for me.
