Right now I am running 400 watts a side on sub that are rated for 600 watts and it SUCKS it just wont pick up the lows like I would like. That is not because of the power you are using. It is mostly the fault of the enclosure. How could he blow it thermally ? I remember running an xxx off 2 bridged channels of a kx350.4. Played some time with the amp way past clipping point and never had problems. -

Obviously, I go home, fix up my project, go back to school and because we use a diffrent software version it still doesn't work. Glad the ta was cool about the deal and he gave me an A-.
My project just had to act up when I tested it at school. Fucking nice. Now I have to get back home, get the back-up and come back to school. Fun times :|
I fucking hate those kinds of idiots. If they want boxes built they should just give me external dimensions, woofer model, power and listening tastes. No other chit chat about what's good and what's not good.

I swear, the software got sick of me working. It signals there are errors in the code, doesn't show what errors there are and at the second compilation it works.

A step in the right direction would be to do the big 3. What kind of wiring do you have now from the battery to the amp ? Don't spend the money on a cap. Save it to get the battery. Please don't bump a topic so early.

Next step, proving that resin on mdf is more brittle than just mdf. I will take moar pictures of the box dismantling aftermath. The mdf exfoliated like crazy on some of the joints. I was pressed with school work and had to finish the tear-down fast. No secsi time for pics.
