The only 8800w amp I know of is priced a bit higher than the TM8800.1D. I suppose the specs (at least the power ratings) are true. I couldn't open the pics

I always ask the shop to cut a full sheet of mdf in pieces as big as I can put in the car. Not the best option but atleast I'm not woried about bad cuts.

sealed boxes are the most efficient boxes IIRC, sealed boxes are the least efficient Apart from reducing output by using a sealed box, how do those reduce trunk rattles ?

Maybe, just maybe, by sticking an a european V8 (+ the whole exshaust) in such a car it would pass polution tests.

It was designed for a lot of linear displacement (just like the '02-05 versions). Not quite what I'd call an "SQ" sub since there is no need for a 2000w subwoofer in such an install but it's all in personal tastes. Love the cat picture As far as some other subs with closer displacement, how about a pair of LMS 18's ? Or even a pair of Maelstrom-X's ?
