  1. X2. I'm still catching up Your going to be here a while, me and Duran really tore it up tonight. :bigclap: We decided when it was on page 14,990 that we wanted 15,000 pages by the end of the night. I'm just glad to be rid of that damned flood control. It's some Next time you N00BS whore up the forum post in your first posts if not, the posts are going bye-bye... It's annoying to sift through 10 pages of whoring. I'm done with it. I got what I wanted, idk why Duran did it. Whoring is cool but edit it so we know the part to skip.
  2. Don't forget that crossovers are not brick walls.Brick walls, not that I know I would use them if I had them, depends on how they would perform, but does anyone know of any brick wall crossovers for car use yet? I haven't seen steeper filters than 4th order for cars. I have never seen anything steep than 24/db Exactly, err, almost. As I stated they aren't brick walls, but the DCX2496 does do 48dB and I have seen 96dB slopes which is pretty close but still not a brick wall. Why would you ever want that? Wouldn't that make it much easier to discern the individual speakers? Someone enlighten me! The point is to blend the speakers, not hear all your speakers as separate elements.
  3. Fuses are there to protect from extra current. IMO, they are a gimmick, because impedance varies across the spectrum and at some frequencies you will have more current while at some you have less current through the fuse. bassahaulic, don't post in this idiotic manner anymore. Either bring arguments or don't post at all. 5 word posts are retarted.

  10. What are your goals ? What kind of power are you using ? What will you use them for ?
  11. MMMMM, Maelstron X I'd do a pair of sealed boxes, on the big side of the recommendations. EDIT : sealed close to IB would be absolutely huge. Ridiculously huge.
  12. Moloko - Familiar feeling Jakatta - It will be
  13. REALLY THE PORT IF FOR 1 in the manual. do the math... its round in the manual convert to square. The pic is also not the right resolution. so it looks smaller than it is. Its 7"x4" 7" deep. the box was professionally built.... The idea of the thread was about robotunderground not my port..... MMM, some of my favourite low-cost subs. From what I found playing with them, a tad over double the recommended port area works best Installed a pair of these in an A4 Golf, on 400w and it was ridiculous for that power level.
  14. M3 looks a lot like the 3500. BUT It has smaller and more fet's in the output stage compared to the 3500. Can't find the pic to get a better idea.
  15. Class D drivers are the same stuff, I bet both amps use IRFP 360LC's in the amp section, and IRFP 064's in the power supply section. Same voltage rail more than likely. Board looks identical. Like I said, if you really want to contradict this, get the schematic and we'll analyse both.
  16. whoa, Neil posted...after a long hiatus
  17. A couple gut pics. Audioque 2200 Brutus BXi 2607
  18. Id like you to buy the AQ2200 and do an actual comparison with the BXI 2607. Someone needs to do this atleast. What about a drop in comparison between 9500s and BTLs. I say that needs to be done before anything can be said. Drop-in test's aren't the best comparison one can do, simply because 2 diffrent woofers don't have the same parameters. They won't perform the same.
  19. Id like you to buy the AQ2200 and do an actual comparison with the BXI 2607. Someone needs to do this atleast. I understand your ego is hurt. Open up the Aq, let's list some parts. I've got the hifonics schematic. Get the aq schematic. I'm not buying something just to bust some internet ego / boner. I have nothing to prove, you guys can keep riding the pawnedwagon. There is no Aq hate. It's just the fact that they are the same quality as Hifonics. One more striking similarity. AQ 3500, Hifonics xxv thor (I have one of these opened up on my desk).
  20. 'Tis a bit too sour
  21. I don't think I ever tried russian food Maybe some local variations...
  22. I might be tempted on the front stage in the M, depending on the price. How well do the Excel's work with the Scan's ? The only issue there is that I am spending my money on home audio which means I'll keep the drivers. The Scan's rock and are going into my next car. By far my favorite small profile tweeter. No problem sir Do you happen to know the Alpine model number ? I found the Scan version really fast, but no luck finding the Alpine model. Home audio seems a lot easier than car audio...to me at least
  23. Time to start studying.
  24. Board color and heatsink shape are the diffrences as far as I can tell from the pictures. 90% sure they share the same components.
  25. You really posted a bunch
