For a strictly spl oriented setup logic says it's better to have an impedance as low as possible (at the peak frequency), to extract the most out of the amplifier you are using. For a setup which plays music I wouldn't bother too much with the impedance curve.

Nissan is coming out with some diesel vehicles in the future, but I don't know when for sure 75% of all Nissans (and almos all of the Nissan trucks and suv's) driving here are diesels. And IMO, as far as reliability, the Renault/Nissan modern diesels are far behind german diesels. Diesels used in old Patrols are very nice engines. Will last a lifetime...it you don't live too much

Be better if it had an oval or was made in Germany. I'm still dreaming about a Camaro with an Audi V8 in it. It could even correspond to the polution regulations over here even though it would be a bit of a cheat with no american muscle under the hood.

Deadening + mdf ring is, imo the first thing you need to do. As far as components go, I haven't played too much with components. But from what I can gather, the Focal tweeter is a matter of love or hate. Another company that pops up is CDT.

The actual installation is going to play a big role in this whole deal. What would make them top of the line ? Price ? Name ? Lots of other possible options, it's not just Focal, RF and RE. Do you have any processing available ? Maybe we can come up with some mix and match options if you have an adequate active crossover.
