Can't tell you for sure if it's better since I haven't tried both. What midbasses is Tmax using ? CA's or ER's ? Rear tweeters would be the bomb

I love my CA18's but haven't tried them in my doors yet. The stiffer cone of the ER's should improve detail...so I say they are worth a shot. That's what I plan to buy if I want to replace my MLI's. As far as the tweeters go, one thing I can really recommend, if you can fit big format tweeters is the Peerles HDS. Can't say anything bad about my ca18 + hds combo. Look for Sean's bugdet active install. He used the CA18's along with a small format tweeter.

Hertz / Audison amps are really nice. Look for a used LRx 1.400. Should be able to find one easily. Just be careful about heat when using in at 1 ohm.
