I've had the best luck with DHL up to this point myself Ordered some parts for the backhoe and they had to be shipped from France...the warehouse shipped with dhl and I have to say, I wasn't too happy with the service. It was my only option though.

As far as I know, Morel aren't built in the US so I suspect there is a certain import tax to be paid by the dealers. That and the fact that one site is based in the US and the other in Malaysia would explain the diffrence

I severely doubt that. Had a quick chat with the guy who won 3rd place in EMMA SQ Euro finals...just as an example, he tested a run of very expensive wire with the cheapest wire he could find, for his tweeters. Surprisingly the expensive wire was worse. As far as his testing went, it's more of a mix and match deal with connection.

I've seen one used for more than a year on 2000w. Shouldn't be a problem if you're smart and listen for mechanical noises.
