So far your plan looks good. Deaden the doors the best you can. If you want to buy a new HU that can do a 2-way active + subwoofer setup, the first options that come to mind are the Alpine 9887 and Pioneer PRS800.

You should complain about shipping when it costs $180 to ship a big amp...$200 for a medium sized sub...and so on... AND you have to wait ~20 days for them...without any tracking information...

I used the same cutout diameter as on the site for the xxx so I suspect the 18inch 12 spokes should be all the same it's not. for some reason I had it at 16.87"(14/16") when I did the math based on circumference, it fit at 16.81"(13/16"). Did you try diffrent positions in the room ? Corners worked best for me when I had the rl-i sealed in 1 cube.
