The calculatios are diffrent, because the volume is pi * r^2 * height. Other than that, it's just a diffrent shape for a box.

Right now you are using it bridged at 1 ohm, so each channel sees a 0.5 ohm impedance. Absolutely no reason to rewire it. Leave it like that

I didnt know a 13W7 could handle 2000w. I believe thats warranty void lol He's been using it like that for over 2 years

I just sold an amp and I would be tempted to pick up the uber...hmmmmmm..... If you use it for SPL, Josh will come to your house and slap you with a wet fish. Me, put such a sub in the SPL car ? no way....

Last year I was putting 55hz on a 52hz box for the SPL12 proto in the civic hatch if that helps any. Those 3hz over the tuning frequency is exactly what we are seeing in testing... Seems like a lot of cars peak over 50...we're still not there with the current box. But at least we kicked major arse this weekend We have a whole summer of testing ahead

I listened to a single 13w7 on 2000w and I'll have to say, hats off to JL.

sometimes u gotta go unusual.................Try making a port (since you use plugs) around...........maybe 38 htz............might help some? I mean that is a base to start at man J Started with a 38hz port, outside the box. By cutting it the only thing that went up was the peak frequency. 1hz for each inch. The score stayed the same. Never dipped below 12.5v during burps. At least it's over 145, which was my objective for this comp Well then i am out of ideas..........How much did u gain going from 38 to the 40's? .2 at most. I'll have to look up my measurements. We managed a 145.6 at the comp (batteries weren't fully charged after demo-ing the car:P) The face on the guys watching the TL was hilarious
