It could very well be the cause. Also, try not to mount it to the box after you get it fixed. The less vibrations, the better.

The Jeep is finally working again. There still are some minor things to adress, like tidying up the engine bay, regular maintenence and fixing some small leaks but those should be a piece of cake

Just found out the new amp has a buit-in subwoofer crossover so I'm going to have a small space available in the rack and I'm thinking about picking up a phonic max 500 to power the mains

Side note, I think I've found a pre-amp with XLR outputs. The NAD 116. I hope the auction isn't going to end to high and I can pick it up

Subs don't "hit" unless you are very very close to the cone. Subs play.

Installed the intake manifold today : 1 step closer to firing it up (which I hope will happen some time tomorrow) There was a layer of dark oily residue everywhere but it's rather clean now
