Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Speaking of Miata, I can't wait to get all the new suspension parts. Switching from 20 year old worn out shock mounts to the newer model, which is supposed to reduce NVH and improve steering response and also switching to some fancy MCU bushings which further reduce NVH and improve steering response compared to rubber bushings.

A couple of weeks ago, I carried something with the Jeep and then I put the backseat up, the music stopped. The BitTen would not turn on. That afternoon it started somehow, I tried grounding the RCA (thinking I blew the internal fuse on the processor somehow) and the fuses on the Zapco (sub amp) blow instantly (90A of fusing). Processor died. Last week I got a new processor, Zapco would still blow fuses when grounding the RCA. Turns out the cable to the sub got chewed up in the backseat hinge and got grounded. Quite the relief seeing the amp is fine.

Well, if you do visit, you will get to drive 2 NA's. So far ours are identical suspension and bracing-wise. Not exactly the same ride height and geometry. Dayum! Nice work!

Welcome to the IHoP v.2
We sent it pretty good a couple weekends ago: That's my Jeep, commentary is to make fun of the other Jeeps in the club who tried it the evening before on 36 inch tires and couldn't make it. The rest of the Jeep club took off on the trail while I was towing an XJ to the meet-up point. So we took the sleigh, a tire tube, some alcohol and spent almost a full day having fun.

Yeah, the motorcycle scene from that video is a dead giveaway.

Don't know. The Renault BBQ is in late May. Quick, hide the drugs! Of course! LS swap everything! Some tuners ranted about the modern turbo engines being optimized for tons of midrange torque (at least on German land barges). Which doesn't make them so great for tuning. Soft boiled eggs, soft fried eggs, do dreamy, so silky smooth Hah, my XXX has been in use for longer

Super late post, but thanks! This actually doubles as a bookmark as I really wanted to some footage of you on the snowmobile- Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Thanks for the compliments guys! It was my girlfriend's ideas and materials choices, all designed in Sketchup. We managed to spend one night there, stopped work at 2AM, woke up at 8AM to continue and that evening the tenants moved in.- Welcome to the IHoP v.2
We should really sync up at one point. If all goes well, I should be in Paris again next summer (potentially with the Miata, taking part in the Renault barbeque / car show would make it amazingly cool). And if business with them expands, I will have to go there even more.- Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Here's the kitchen:- Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Meanwhile, I'm mad at the guy who built the kitchen furniture in the apartment. I sent him a design to wrap around a big support beam and create two closets and nice shelves. Got the quote from him and then delays for 3 weeks before he told me he won't be able to do it. After I got the invoice for all the particle board from my usual supplier it was clear why he did not want the project. But he should've told me faster.- Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Damnit, I arrived in Paris on the 6th. And left on the 11th. No way I'm moving to China or the entire APM manufacturing moves there. We're trying to build as much of them as possible locally : I put diesel in my Miata. Realised it, pulled off the feed line to the fuel rail, ran the fuel pump to empty the tank, put gas back in and happy days. Strange, as I've read that the newer ones have really shitty engines.- Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Sweet! I will have to start her off with easier stuff, not directly overhead press, to get the posture correct.- Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Even with the practice we're getting, she needs some extra conditioning- Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Calling all gym rats Following my suggestions to start working out, my girlfriend bought 2 gym passes. Now, I've got a few plans down for me so I think I'm covered, plus I've restarted light training in the office basement for the past 3 weeks. I'm clueless what plan should I start her on. She's the skinny type and I'd like to go to the gym 3 days per week. Start with some cardio, then train the same groups I'm training? For example: Day 1: Legs + shoulders Day 2: Chest + triceps Day 3: Back + biceps- Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Haha, the one in my backyard is going up for sale. Can't wait to see it gone.- Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Life > project cars > audio- Welcome to the IHoP v.2
There's a rough 1.8 NB for sale in the other side of the country, cheap and registered. Plus I want to buy my GF a car and a Miata would be cooler than a Yaris/Echo.- Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Yes yes yes! There's a rallysprint this weekend close by. But it's on a dangerous mountain road, no thanks.- Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Vlad put his small crash last year down to not being used to wearing a helmet. I drove almost 30 miles with the helmet on on the way to the event. Strange feeling to have a helmet on in the car.- Welcome to the IHoP v.2
University student's can't take the bus or walk to school, they are so lazy and spoiled. We had 2 cars when I was a student and I drove to school a handful of times only because I was on a really tight schedule.- Welcome to the IHoP v.2
School started in full force, the city is now a huge traffic jam. The bike is now the best way to travel to and from work.- Welcome to the IHoP v.2
I'm not looking forward to snow.- Welcome to the IHoP v.2
