Here is the car and the current sub : He's planning adding one more woofer and competing in espl, something similar to bass race (track chosen by the judges). Basically, I'm looking for some ideas on woofer and port orientation from the ones that have some spl experience Right now his top score is 144db @ 36hz, db-drag style, using a single 3kw Ground Zero 1.3000 and one 15inch 4hp clone by Ground Zero (Plutonium 15). Final gear will be 2 subs and 2 Atomic 5000.1's. What port and woofer orientation ideas do you guys have ? Even some tips would be really nice

Sorry, I can't help you too much. It's a quattro, so I belive you don't get the stupid dual mass flywheel which means one possible expense is out. Our VW never seemed too expensive to maintain...aside from the major work, we rarely open the hood.

I don't think you can blow your amp if you set the gains too high.

30ft of awg4. 10.5v AC. After the diodes and the cap it should be around 14v DC which is just perfect. Now I need to find something to test it on and see if the primary coils need tweaking. usps, where are my f'in 6 farad caps ?
