1996 Jeep Cherokee
will do sir. right now i can either buy a new blade for the sucky saw, fork out money for a table saw or try to cut the 2 panels with the jig-saw.

Welcome to the IHoP
as soon as i'm done with my enclosure i'm going to say bye-bye to spending large money on car audio. my room is screaming for IB bass now that the new garage is adjacent to one of the walls and i'm still itching to buy a nice turn-table

curved on the small side. probably could have used it and fill the gap with fiberglass but i hate cutting corners and i'm too much of a perfectionist

1996 Jeep Cherokee
unluckiest day yet. as soon as i got the mdf out of the shed it started pouring. the sheet got wet on one surface. i got a circular handsaw from a neighbour and tried it on some scrap wood. worked fine. so i clamped a guide on the mdf sheet and started cutting. the saw decided to cut a curve instead of a straight line. i swear i'm going to buy a table saw even if it's the last mdf panel i ever need to cut.

seems like a good idea. the underground radio station Aaron mentioned in the "now playing" thread is another idea worth considering.

1996 Jeep Cherokee
thanks right now i've got an idea of going with a fiberglass front. my neighbour's building a new house, so there's plenty of scrap iron bars (4mm diam should be enough) and i thought about reinforceing the front with a couple bars EDIT: screw that idea. i'm going with a solid mdf baffle.

new tweeters :)
i'm not thinking about removing it to reduce size. if i manage to remove it i'll replace it with a round one (simply for the ease of flush mounting), 1/2 inch thick, rounded over. just like in the pdf file in the first post

http://www.tymphany.com/datasheet/printview.php?id=221 anyone ever used them ? got them almost for free and i remember i saw a project using a vifa D26NC55 http://www.zaphaudio.com/tidbits/D26NC55-halfinchhorn.pdf http://www.zaphaudio.com/tidbits/D26NC55-parts.jpg mine have a very similar mounting flange and i thought about getting it off and doing something similar to what's in the link (to replace what i currently have in the MT's) only trouble is they seem glued to the flange : i need some ideas to remove the glue- 1996 Jeep Cherokee
i'll make it solid then and double, so i can flush mount the sub - new tweeters :)
