the dub got a new flywheel and clutch. vw techs must have been really stupid when they came up with the dual mass flywheel...darn thing got out of balance and the car was shaking at idle. luckily, single mass flywheels from older vw 4 cyl engines fit just perfect. along with a vr6 clutch just need to finish the system in the jeep and then it's time for a chip and nozzeles for the dub

3 days away from civilization is really cool. most relaxing vacation this year..by far best part is grandma's old sewing machine needs restoration and i've brought home most of the parts. the woodworking in the table is really nice for the age.
