  1. I'd take the Miata out for a drive today but the german plates expired So I'll have to get temporary romanian plates on Monday. Gah.
  2. Looking back, I'd rather just smoke some maryjane. No hangover after that.
  3. Head hurts, I'm dizzy. Haven't had a heavy night in quite some time. Lost count of the beers and Jagermeister shots.
  4. And I hate it when corn harvesting season comes around. Brings back memories of hard work.
  5. Why can't we cultivate it? Seriously. Corn had to be shucked by hand at one point. At one point? A lot of people here still do all corn work manually
  6. Weighted dips are king for lower chest and triceps. Remember to keep your elbows tucked in and focus on keeping your chest involved by hunching and keeping your head down. Thank you for the tips Usually I try to do an extra 1-2 negative reps by pushing up with my legs.
  7. Pyramids definitely helped me with strength. 2 warmup sets, then 3-4 pyramid sets. I've worked on my benching form and right now I'm confident I can do a 1 rep with 200. 160 went for for 4 reps. But I'd rather do weighted dips instead of bench press.
  8. My appetite and food intake keeps going up and I still get muscle soreness. I'm going to try to bulk up a bit this winter.
  9. OHP Feet together, as if standing at attention in the military, is called the Military Press. Feet shoulder width apart is called the Overhead Press. Military Press FTW I've seen a guy in the gym doing seated overhead presses with 220 lbs. Beast...
  10. Went for a drive with the Miata yesterday and I felt like Cinderella as my german plates expired at midnight And I spend my Halloween dressed as a douche, ie driving a convertible in cold'ish weather
  11. Such stable. So smooth. Much amaze.
  12. No way, I need to wash those images away
  13. Hmph, I found 2 tablespoons of crap in the Miata's air filter. Now I know why it ran better at 75% throttle than at WOT. Going to buy an air and oil filter tomorrow.
  14. Vertical array is too much. I'll take the FR88 and take some pictures to see just how small the A-pillars are. It's a tiny car
  15. Old York A/C units work very well for OBA. http://www.jedi.com/obiwan/jeep/yorkair.html
  16. Won't work, the dash is very low. Same goes for kick-panel full-ranges. It's either on the dash or on the A-pillars.
  17. For a qtc of 0.7 the full-ranges need a 1L box. This is what scares me since I want to keep the A-pillar build as small as possible. Really curious if I can vent them under the dash. Ideally I'd take out the dash and install a pair of 3" full-ranges there but it's too much work for this car.
  18. Alright, I've got the itch, I can't live with crappy sound in the Miata. I'm not going to do anything about road noise but I'm going to add some deadening to the doors. The plan is to put a 7" tablet, a miniDSP and a PPI 900.4, and do a simple 2-way install, without a sub. Midbasses are going to be a set of Adire Extremis 6.8. I'm already using a set in the Jeep, they dig down deep enough for what kind of listening I want in the Miata. Plus it's a pity to let my extra pair collect dust. Tweeters vs Full-ranges...the car has narrow A-pillars, speakers should pair up with the Extremis (I've seen them used up to 1.6-2k in home audio) and shouldn't be over $150. What I've been looking are are: http://www.madisoundspeakerstore.com/vifa-soft-dome-tweeters/vifa-ne25vts-04-1-silk-dome-tweeter/ http://www.madisoundspeakerstore.com/approx-2-fullrange/vifa-ne65w-2-fullrange-driver-4-ohm/ Both have the same external diameter, almost identical mounting depth. Is there any other sensible choice in the budget and size? I'm really leaning towards the full-ranges for the reason that I can cross them way lower than the tweeters. They're as efficient as the Extremis and a 4x140w amp should provide enough output.
  19. Deaver National Springs Alcan They all make custom springs Funny how as a european I know who makes custom springs in the US
  20. Good grief, I feel slightly bad for asking that "quality gf material" girl who she is. But enough is enough, I got tired of being taken for a ride.
  21. There's a dually Ram 3500 in town, lifted. I need to take some pictures of the Miata next to it. Even compared to local cars it's tiny (I can't see it in the parking lot) I bet it looks like a toy next to the 1 ton dually.
  22. The dually looks badass
  23. Well, this means it's time to have some fun. This one claimed she was smart...
  24. Only my father is going, I'm staying home and having the house all for myself during the holidays.
  25. Bwahaha, dad's GF bought him plane tickets, he's staying with her in Spain for the holidays. A full month
