  1. Adding one more to the "quality gf material" list: We talked a bit online and at some point blam, no reply. 2 months pass and I get messaged today and she asks me for help on some topic which I learned in the University. And she's not even a student at that University. Currently debating between saying "who are you?", asking for payment for help or not saying jack shit
  2. After seeing 2 very fast 996 turbo's at the drag races yesterday, I had a dream that I somehow got to own a 996 turbo and it was fucking awesome.
  3. Well if it's got boobs or wheels it's going to cost money.

  6. the wiring on the backhoe was fixed with soldered joints but the cables are tied down in those areas so they ar not vibrating much. so far so goos, it's been 3 or 4 years
  7. Errm, do weatherpacks fit ? I had planned on using some if I NEED to add quick releases anywhere. Do they make single crimp connectors? I have always soldered but high heat and high vibe I've read on snow forums can fail.high amplitude vibrations will make a solder connection fail, especially in very cold conditions they make single wire weatherpacks

  9. Enough of being a whiny little bitch, moving on to other women.
  10. On a more serious note, I need a fucking break from this bad streak in dating.
  11. Awesome, looks like a good idea
  12. Hmm, car-limbo competition and SPL competition at this weekends drag race. The Miata is perfect for the limbo and I need to figure out a way to put a box in the passenger seat and wire an amp
  13. I would consider the motor with this coil set up strictly SPL. It should have, and I say should have as it hasn't been assembled yet, the strongest motor ever put into production. Per FEA modeling it will have a BL of ~55 at one ohm. If the factory in China assembled it using the correct magnets (it uses two different grades of ferrite) the 55 figure should be close as my FEA programs are extremely accurate. Per Precision Econowind this is one of if not the biggest coils they have ever built for a subwoofer. The "daily" coil set up is still extremely strong. It should have a BL of ~22-25 TM at one ohm. At this figure it is still as strong as some Neo drivers on the market. If this can work on 3000-7000w and provide good results, with a 12" cone, I've just found my BTL replacement
  14. And school-time this afternoon. Pretty useless HTML/PHP lab, nothing new, at least we'll get to play some Red Alert 2.
  15. Yesterday was not a good day in the gym for me. Heck, yesterday wasn't all that great. From the office straight to the gym, got home, barely had time to eat, went to the neighbors to help lift something with the backhoe, off to the hospital since dad had surgery that morning, back home to fix the window on the Miata. Good thing the weather was nice and I went for a long night drive around town, top-down, after all a hectic day.
  16. Oh my, part of me wants to do it, part of me is scared just looking.
  17. To put together Quentin's idea would require input from people who compete in such organizations. For instance if I would participate in IASCA, I'd post rules and competition anouncements as soon as I'd see them. At least that's how we used to do it locally. Whenever a competition was announced, one of the competitors would post the details elsewhere.
  18. Nightshift in the garage, with my trusty helper:
  19. Rear caliper on the Miata is changed and adjusted, now I have a working handbrake. Started changing the window regulator cables today and in my infinite clumsiness I fucked them up just when I was testing them. And it was close to 11pm so I decided to stop, get new cables and finish up the job tomorrow.
  20. Much work So tired Doge helped
  21. Well looky look what we have here: http://www.madisoundspeakerstore.com/approx-2-fullrange/vifa-ne65w-2-fullrange-driver-4-ohm/ Same external diameter, almost the same depth as the 1" NE Vifa tweeter but it's a full-range http://www.madisoundspeakerstore.com/vifa-soft-dome-tweeters/vifa-ne25vts-04-1-silk-dome-tweeter/
