I wonder what GOOD small format tweeters I can pair up the Extremis of Mach 5 MLI with? Extremis freq response looks clean up to 5k, so I assume if I can get a pair of tweeters to dig down to 1.6-2k I'm good.

Yesterday I started looking for places to put a pair of 3" FR's in the Miata. I already have a pair of Extremis, would be a pity to let them stay in a box. And there's a PPI Phantom 900.4 on ebay, damn, I need to keep my money for the registration tax. I just can't help it Won't be as cool as in the Jeep but I WILL have some better tunes in the Miata

It's just a C-clip axle which broke There's a website dedicated to Dana35 breakage (axle under almost all XJ Cherokees), plenty of pics like the above there. I can't find the site now. It is a junk diff. I have likely built or replaced more 35s than any other diff. I know you love them I want to lock mine but I'm really unsure if I should swap it out for a Ford 8.8 or just lock it, now that I also have disc brakes

Engine needs a tune-up, seems to run a little rich and a bit rough at idle after the long drive. But it drives excellent and it's not cold under the soft-top

Never thought I'd say this, but I when I "launch" the Jeep I get wheel hop Extra fuel is definitely doing the job.

Yep, I walked, too many risks. I've found one at 160k (rustbucket had 100k), current owner has had it for 12 years, minimal surface rust (he sent pics), excellent interior, well maintained, aftermarket suspension (H&R springs and Koni adjustable shocks), winter wheels, good soft-top. So looking at it, the difference between the two cars is 700 euros. Different parts are valued at: new springs are 150e (they were on the wish list whatever car I bought), seats are at least 200e in good condition, winter wheels are about 200e, good soft-top is 2-300e. I did not add the shocks since I don't know the condition. It all adds up to more than the difference. So for more money, I get less work, better interior, nicer wheels and winter wheels but higher mileage. I won't be able to get the hardtop on the way home unless they go for really cheap but at least I can start driving it without worries I'll fall out through the rust. Thank you Guess what? There used to be rust on the rear sills, it was repaired. There is some rust in the trunk, no spare. It's a fucking neglected rust bucket.
