internet is cheap over here. but not exactly very fast. before some troubles with the network, i used to have download speeds up to 1MB/s and i'm paying only 10$ / mo. right now, download speed is a constant 60kB/s

i guess my 'net is letting me down. time for an upgrade : telephone service, tv cable and internet in the same package. 25$ / mo.

all i had was a 2x4. didn't hit them that hard. scaring them is more important it had good results in the past

about 150lbs (just the subs, not counting the box) couldn't be 'that' much

they're updating a new model to the site. they do make eclipse subs. iirc they worked with ground zero, onyx (no longer in business), oz audio, svs, eD and si ( 1st gen mag ? ).

the problem with your gf's could be related to the ignition and not neccesarily to the spark plugs. pop the hood whe it's dark and look for sparks around connectors.

junkyard ftw. over here we have shops that buy cars damaged in accidents and take them apart to sell them for parts. try to find a similar car and take the rotors off.

pretty weird if the sound doesn't apper only under 20mph. my guess is either the pads are trashed, or the bearing is trashed. the bearings on dad's mk3 were making a bit of noise, but it was loudest only at certain speeds. a pretty easy fix. do you have brake disks on the back ? weird again, since the front brakes sustain more wear... when was the last time you changed the pads ? imo, the pads are something you NEED to keep an eye on if you don't have thickness sensors.

so, i guess a 3kw qsc amp won't be enough to push a 4hp 18... the lms 4kv2 looks nice (tc forum ) as a low-end beast, which would be better out of the tc5200 and the lms4100 ? is the 5200 geared towards spl ?

x2. high mpg, decent power. top 1.9 tdi has 150hp... they have a bit of small bugs, but imo, it's worth it. untill now, nothing me and dad couldn't fix. limited space and not too many tools made it more difficult. i wish i had some papers for mine (49cc, 50mph top). i got it from a friend and it isn't registered. i could be in a bit of trouble if the 5-0 catch me. riding that 'monster' to school would be the bomb college costs over here range from 1500$ to 2500$. it's alot cheaper over here.

the design he was talking about is similar to a front loaded horn. google the decware imperial horn (that's a blh, but there's a flh that's similar in size). check the size and tell me if it compares to the interior space of an suv ? and you don't 'need' a 20hz horn to be able to reproduce 20hz in a car. cabin gain helps. don't jump on people coming up with new theories.
