Built two imperial horns a couple years back for friends bar . Dat's a lot of wood i wanted to build an imperial for my garden. but dragging the amp outside every time would kill the pleasure.

i'm using the rl-i 10 in a deathbox for my home setup. goes down to 35 hz. only bad part is that it's a bit peaky around 120hz comparing to sealed, 0.8 cf, i'm getting almost the same low-end but a bit better efficiency...

ever tried other designs from decware ?

i'm finally decided on a finish for my sub. covered in leather. scraps sewn (sp?) together. good thing is i don't have to pay for the leather.

hey guys. more good news. mom's doing better. talking improved. this morning she could hardly count to ten (with my help) and at 9pm she was counting to ten perfectly. very little pronounciation (sp?) problems. i'm really happy.

you could try this bigger version of what i use the rl-i in. i remember someone used an rl-p 12 in one of those. but it was a car setup.

winisd pro showes group delay. the lower, the better. imo, smaller box = better transient response. it's a delicate balance between lowend and transient response.

excellent joke Aaron. i read the whole ot section and found some pretty good jokes in there. off to the hospital. i'll probably post an update later. there's a chance i'll spend the night in hospital, just in case mom needs to call the nurse. speach isn't great, you still have to pay attention and guess most of the words. anyways, she's doing better compared to my grandfather (he went through the same troubles 3 yrs ago).
