The Jeep with extra power is a blast on muddy slopes. As soon as boost comes, the thing starts to pull. And on big hills on the road I'm typically 10 mph faster than before, what I could do with 60, I can now do with 70. But aerodynamics really tax the thing MORE fuel, MORE boost !

So far I can't say I'm overly excited about the new job, the team seems to be composed of stereotypical computer programmers, not a lot of talk during work hours, everybody goes to lunch when they please (unlike at Emerson where we would go in groups of at least 4). Hopefully it's just the first impression and it will change either with time or when I see my first paycheck.

I install a friend's BTL N3 and forget to turn off the low-pass and one RCA gets unplugged. 145.6 dB I put my old BTL back and wire the coils out of phase, nothing. And after 5 burps with no luck I manage to squeeze a 150.7 dB, 0.1 less than what it does usually with this box.

A customer of mine has one, uses it for pizza delivery and did not invest any money in it except a timing belt and oil change. Would be nice not to care about dings, rust or anything else.

I'm done with FWD unless it's an econobox. I'd spend the coin on this: only to beat the life out of it around town. Plus it's easy to get a single 12 LOUD.

That's how I remember VW transaxles from seeing pics of them on the internet.
