  1. Doesn't everyone? Part of a balanced diet...
  2. 2 hours after my chicken breast, veggies and milk meal I'm hungry. Yogurt time at midnight !
  3. Going to the pool tomorrow for some swimming. Jumping head first by getting 10 passes, time to re-learn how to swim and to learn how to tread water.
  4. My legs still hurt after Monday. I can barely go down stairs (well, I can probably tumble down with grace) and sit down.
  5. It was great. Dropped over $5k on food though VAT for the motherfucking loss!!! Oh, tell me about it. 24% VAT...
  6. Good luck man !
  7. Quoted for truth ! I've had the skin effect discussion a bajilion times with "installers" around here. It's DC current, there's no skin effect. Myths help sell products so for somebody who cares more about their pocket than actually getting things right they are an invaluable tool.
  8. ZJ proportioning valve installed today, all is well, the front locks up instead of the rear. Functionally, the brake conversion is done, time for cosmetic touches.
  9. Be glad it's white, otherwise I would have cursed you. I SOOOO want another black Zapco AG. Fucking Jeep is tiny inside and I can't fit 2 big AGs
  10. i wonder of i can get protein from them cheaper than here Give it a try brother. Custom mixes, and tons of choices on protein and other suppliments. Keep in mind, if you get say 5 lbs of chocolate whey, its 5 lbs of whey, then they add the flavor and anything else you want on top of it. High quality shit too. J As long as shipping doesn't kill it...

  12. Yes. Many GCs in the States have rear disc brakes. seems like all the ZJ's in the UK have rear discs, time to email my connections to find a used valve. i found a new one at summit for $95, worst comes to worst, i'll get that
  13. I finally tried the new rear brake setup and with all the extra dive I can lock up the rear first There are Grand Cherokees with rear disc brakes, a proportioning valve from that would fix it. Or an adjustable from Wilwood maybe?
  14. Be forewarned; I will forever make fun of you for driving a bitch car. It's a temporary "relief" until I pony up some money for a 67-70 Mustang
  15. They are pretty simple and easy. Biggest issues are body roll and HP. I fixed body roll and poor braking on the Jeep, now it's time for fixing the power. Should be simpler in a Miata since people already tried everything. Plus I like snails
  16. I've been looking at getting a second car, cheapish, rear wheel drive and light. Have any of you guys had experience with the first gen Miata? Owner forums say that they are reliable, cheap and simple to work on and take abuse. Seeing that competitions similar to autocross are starting to gain momentum here a Miata looks like a good platform to play with. Oh yeah, I'm short (6') so I probably fit well in the car.
  17. Spent this afternoon sleeping and building a mold for the disk backing plate. Going to build them out of fiberglass, it should be plenty strong and tight around the disc. The conversion looks like a success so far, handbrake is plenty strong and the car dives more under heavy braking. Next step is zinc plating all the parts
  18. Looks like after venting the frustration I found the culprit. The coolant temperature sensor screws in an adapter. I probably tightened the adapter in the head but did not tighten the sensor. Ran the finger under it and it was sure enough wet, no pun intended
  19. The Jeep has a small coolant leak since the new head install. I found an lose hose clamp before leaving but dad did not put enough miles to tell if the coolant level dropped or not. It's fucking annoying. Absolutely no sign of compression in the coolant so I know the headgasket is good and head torquing is also good.
  20. She gets back tomorrow and into finals, I'll push for pics asap, I want to see them too
  21. Holy shit am I tired after my vacation. Non-stop visiting, I think we stayed put on the beach for 5 hours total. Portugal has awesome beaches, Barcelona is a huge city. Time to recover my pics from the GF's laptop.
  22. Waiting for the plane to barcelona where i have a 2hr layover
  23. Holy triple post ))
  24. Finished up the rear brake conversion today and managed to strip the bleeder port on one caliper. After much fumbbling around i decided to block the brake line and look for a caliper . Found it 5 minutes from home for $15, i nearly kicked myself for not looking right after i fuxored the port. Oh well, at least i have a good handbrake now.
