Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Went to pick up a package and when parking I hear a loud rattle from under the Jeep, just like a bad throw-out bearing. I press the clutch, the noise does not go away. I barely touch the throttle, it goes away. In another parking lot the noise stopped when idling. Turns out the downpipe - gearbox brace is slightly lose. Easy fix, yay

RE XXX v3 sexiness
Thanks for saying that, it will be my future home theatre sub. I was actually thinking crazy to sell it, but comments like these will keep it around a long time. I'm surprised you didn't build an 18. *Currently looking for a motor*

Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Went for a bike trip today with 2 college friends, too bad one of them had a shitty bike and both were a tad slower than what I would have wanted. The steel frame behaved well on dirt roads, bumps are not that horrible

Welcome to the IHoP v.2
There's one thing a friend told me some time ago about this: Just tell them you don't want to do it, don't bother saying you don't have time. Honestly, it seems more and more sensible.

Welcome to the IHoP v.2
A guy I talked to at a competition wanted to move in the same city as me so he asked me about a possible job in car audio. Obviously I won't hire anybody so I directed him to a shop. Fast forward 3 months, he moves here and calls me 2 days ago to ask me when we can meet up, if I can give him some MDF and if we can build a false floor, battery holder etc. We build a false floor? Am I supposed to help everybody live their life and give away what little free time I have?

Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Pretty funny, Adrian can't have his own opinion, can't complain about it since people get pissy. So even in the house I built with my father (at the country side) somebody else still has to pull the strings and I should pretend like I like it. I mean you come to my house, give me imperative suggestions on what to do and I'm the bad guy since I don't listen. Short story: people suck.

Welcome to the IHoP v.2
There was some European brand that did the same thing, only theirs is $800 or $900 Not sure what the MiniDSP guys had in mind when they started doing this, but seems like their business is blowing up huge. D'uh, everything with "Europe" on it is expensive since most think they invented swiss cheese and everybody here has a money tree in their garden. I'm still going to get a miniDSP next month, fuck everything.

Welcome to the IHoP v.2
The hubs are worth more than that. I have had terrible luck with Mavic, but they are French so that is expected. And really, if they don't do what you need lacing your own on those hubs more than saved you what you paid. The cassette is worth $25, geared better for road use too compared to mine and it has very little use. Honestly, I think they are better than the Ridiga's which I have now: typical simple front and double Zac19 rear, both with Shimano RM40 hubs. And these have not needed truing since I trued them. Do you have a dislike for a lot of french things too? Well outside of cookware french shit is usually fragile like their ego's I don't like anything french, in particular their cars.

Welcome to the IHoP v.2
I'll have to test for myself but it's pretty clear, I even had a long argument with a user, he was claiming 25 psi boost, I was claiming 15 psi, turns out boost for him = turbo outlet pressure. 3 reports of 15 psi after the intercooler, 2 of 25 psi before the intercooler. Shit, if I would run 20+ psi I can only imagine how much more fuel I can dump. And how much more I can dump with better cooling too. Hah, looks like there's plenty power to be had without a new turbo.

Welcome to the IHoP v.2
I know there are some turbo freaks here so I'll ask: During the weekend I tested how well my intercooler works. After about a minute climb at full-boost, about mid-range revs, the IAT got to 140F while outside temps were 57F. Couldn't measure turbine outlet temperature since the insulation of the sensor wires melted and it shorted on the IC. The wires were between the hose clamp and IC. There are reports of a 10 psi pressure drop over the intercooler. Upgrade or just vent the bumper?

Welcome to the IHoP v.2
I fuxored you Oh, how so? You love my wet slippery noodles. I give it to you once and you can't get enough Its the deep salty and umami flavor. Better than crack. Hard to lift with chopsticks until skilled though. Interesting. I've always found it MUCH easier to eat with sticks, but perhaps the skilled is implied on my part.Want something else to use chopsticks for? Try salads. You'll absolutely hate using a fork afterwards. Almost makes me carry them to restaurants for that purpose. Chopsticks for salad FTW. I was at a barbecue Saturday and while eating fries and salad I was thinking "this would be so easy with chopsticks".

Welcome to the IHoP v.2
I remember we did some testing like that in 2008 on a friend's car and he put the highest score he ever did following the test results. So, go for it, especially for positioning it's a great test.

Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Bought a Mavic wheelset, with Deore LX hubs, quick release skewers and Shimano cassette for $35 today. Now I only need tires and I have a set of extra wheels for trail riding

Welcome to the IHoP v.2
I'd never ride a trike 2 or 4 wheels, or tracks.

Welcome to the IHoP v.2
"US"? United States is what I meant. Too much hassle with shipping. And I kind of forgot the "steal me" look, a hardtail seems a bit less attractive for thieves
-
Welcome to the IHoP v.2
US is almost out of the question for buying a bike. I want to ride regardless of weather so the less maintenance parts (bushings, suspension), the better for the snowy season

This looks like an interesting frame: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Saracen-Tufftrax-Frame-1995-steel-retro-vintage-red-mountain-mtb-bike-bicycle-/380620503393?pt=UK_sportsleisure_cycling_bikeparts_SR&hash=item589ebff961 Tange double butted, appears to be welded, oversize headtube (I can fit modern forks). But this one is kick-ass: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/voodoo-bizango-18-frame-reynolds-853-tubes-White-Xc-Hardtail-/230966373379?pt=UK_sportsleisure_cycling_bikeparts_SR&hash=item35c6ab2c03 Reynolds 853 tubing, same effective top tube length as my current bike.
