  1. As always Jon, install is the biggest thing
  2. Speaking of axle wrap, I can't wait to get the damn leaf spring liner and install my new springs. Hopefully it will cure axle wrap.
  3. Funny thing, nobody pays any attention to the little tugs that haul around these liners at the airport. I'd venture to say they have half the available power of any of these other vehicles. Fortunately for marketers, most people don't understand simply physics enough to understand these possibilities. Correct setup for any application beats brute force IMO. I'm pretty surprised the Tundra had that little axle wrap when starting.
  4. Somebody used a Touareg V10 to pull a 747 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lhk3VRtU5Dk
  5. I suspect it has a module which wires in place of the standard ignition switch and has logic for all the ignition positions.
  6. Jeff Schwartz's Caddy seems to have brake cooling ducts in the front bumper, neato
  7. It's Fiat's hand probably. Have you seen the Multipla?
  8. Its nice to get into a warm car, especially when there's a foot of snow outside I do everyday, it's called a garage. Same here. And it's way cooler than outside in the summer
  9. Forced inducshion You mean forced inducsean Forced inducadrian would be even better. I still desire something decently fast and not fwd.
  10. Hater !
  11. Forced inducshion
  12. Perhaps you need to lower your expectations to equal your spending limit. Sounds like a buy the jeep recommendation. The Jeep looks like Darth Vader to me
  13. 2 straight hours of fiberglassing. Time flies when you're having fun. Good thing for the mask, otherwise I would have killed what little brain cells I have.
  14. I know what you mean. The day just goes faster when you occupy the mind. Gimme something to do, I've ran out of internet.
  15. Page 274, rated R for strong language.
  16. Every time I have a day when I'm low on tasks at work I feel like crap the whole day. This time it's probably a combination of lack of sleep, getting stale at work and spending 2 hours in the cold at a funeral. Maybe slightly dehydrated too.
  17. Fucking so much fucking !
  18. Since we're on topic... Fucking 4Runners Fucking Suburbans
  19. Biggest thing I learned is that cross-country biking is tons of fun. So I really need to get a set of wheels for such adventures.
  20. Went for a ride on the MTB competition track. Sticky mud everywhere, I could barely move around with my street slicks But I did learn a few things: my brake levers are in the wrong position, my chain is a bit sloppy and even with knobby tires, I need to lose the fenders when riding off-road.
  21. AWESOME
  22. I don't know for sure (related to charity). What I know for sure is that countless times I have helped only to be completely forgotten and I do it again.
  23. The first part is why I too feel that giving to charity is selfish. This is mostly for the sake of discussion but IMO a lot of things we do have a selfish reason behind them. If you take it to the extreme, even helping somebody has some selfishness behind it, since there is a feel-good sensation to it or at some point the favor will be returned. You've never met a genuine selfless person then. It's a gray zone and quite possibly the drive to give comes sub-consciously. Maybe it's something like Pavlov's dog and we don't realize it
  24. Mother-fucker, I can't find an E46 coupe in town to look at the trunk for 10 minutes. Everybody and their grandmother has an E46 but nobody has 10 minutes to help.
  25. We have these kind of talks all the time at work, some of them really make you go hmmmm.
